  2. 2. Do you think After Hours was the last DLC?

Recommended Posts

With nearly 30 updates (If Im not forgetting one) which one has been your favorite and why? Also do you think After Hours was the last DLC?

Its hard to pick just one but out of the top of my mind I'd probably say Heists, it was something everyone wanted since the beginning.

Executives And Other Criminals is my favorite dlc.

I love the cars, I really love the cars. The Yacht has been my spwan location for over 2 years now. The VIP system is one of my favorite additions to the game & thanks to it, I no longer have to rely on Heists & Contact missions. I'm not under the mercy of randumbs anymore & no long loading screens. I'm always driving one of the E&OC cars, they're always the last car I drive before I call it a night. Did I mention that I love the cars?

I don't think After Hours was the last update. But I do think the quality of the cars will deteriorate as they move on to the next big project.

1. ...tricky, honestly - on balance, I probably bought more cars from Doomsday Heist than any other update, but the story and mission structure doesn't work for me. My favourite car in GTAO came from Import/Export, and yet I reckon there's a lot more bad than good about that update (which puts me in the minority, I know!).

Really, I'm so mixed-to-frustrated with so many updates from Freemode Events onward that I can only pick from the earlier ones, content-light as they might have been. Overall, I'm Not A Hipster represents what I'd consider a 'better' kind of update (Ill-Gotten Gains 1 similarly): a nice mix of realistic stuff, where asset quality is higher, there's a bit of everything, and while not everything is going to be to everyone's exact tastes, you can probably get something out of at least one or two of the vehicles, some of the clothes, etc.

If R* did bigger updates like they currently do, but with the same quality/variety of stuff as INAH? That'd be ideal, IMO - although that said...

2. I don't think After Hours is the last update - but I suspect we all need to dial back our expectations regarding updates from now on. Maybe we'll get another thing with a big property, new missions, etc. - I doubt it, though, and I actually reckon that we might be looking at things of the same size/scale as the original INAH (some cars, some clothes, and that's it), unless RDR2 multiplayer really doesn't take off, and R* has to fall back on milking GTAO.

It was a hard choice because all of them brought so much options and fun to the game but I had to go with bikers based how much  fun me and My friends had tearing up the streets on our bikes riding in formation doing fun biker  challenges like criminal mischeif. It brought so many new interiors from the businesses and clubhouse  and missions. It brought new game mechanics like bike melee  and new fight animations etc. I've enjoyed every thing since heist honestly and im enjoying after hours as well.

EZ, Bikers is best simply cause of the amount of bikes added with it. Add more bikes - I'll love you more.

No, Afterhours is not the last.. we will get at least 18 more months (imo) of active updates as we got used to so far, maybe skip something around RDR2 release but it's not ending until GTA6 is like at least announced believe me that.

1st: Heists

2nd: Gunrunning

3rd: Smugglers

Depending on how the Strikeforce aircraft & Terrorbyte missions turn out, Night Club may take 3rd in my top 3.

Heists. No brainer, easily the best DLC of this game.

No, don't think it is the last DLC. Could be if RDR2 does something magic of course, but I feel if they can still add here. There's plenty of cash to be earned at Christmas for example.

We'll see. Definitely a good time for fans of both games though. :)

1. Executives And Other Criminals, because i've always wanted to play freeroam with FF turned off.
2. No, because of these new racing update gossips.

Bikers because of the clothing and the businesses, i do more biker stuff than I/E or CEO Crates. Because it's easy with a few friends and doesn't need much time if you buy the supplies.

Valentines day was the best for me. That whole 1920s mafia vibe fits so well into gta online. Back then gta online was really realistic. They will add new Dlcs btw they make a lot of money from a 5 year old game why should they stop? They ruined the game the moment they released stunt races and after that it has gotten worse each update

Further Adventures In Finance And Felony. (I personally don't give a sh*t if an update is built of businesses. You at least have something to do, and you earn money from it.)

Nope.

Not a popular opinion round these parts but its Gunrunning for me. It added my favourite business, several favourite vehicles and weapons and pieces of equipment and a lot more general depth to free roam.

Research was a huge f*ck-up in terms of implementation but even there I like the basic idea of unlocking upgrades for things, just not via the method of loot crate roulette with two dozen liveries padding out the actual worthy items.

And I've said this 1000x before but I will again: only a signifcant loss of profitability or a move to a newer entry in the series will end GTAO updates and anyone who thinks otherwise is a deluded fool.

After Hours. Music is important in gta. Love it. Discover new music while playing a casual game.

Smaller dlcs as long as Shark Cards generate profit.

Moving on to the next big project is something people have been saying since as early as 2014. So far it hasn't happened.

Even though Doomsday is technically the biggest dlc, I go for heists out of nostalgia. In march 2015 the game was still kind of fresh and the Mastermind challenge that I did with people around the globe at the end of the year was very exciting and something to remember. At that point heists was a huge dlc that dwarfed previous updates and we had so much anticipation for so long it was a big climax. It brought the game to a next level.

For me:

1. Heists

2. Doomsday (very close 2nd)

3. Gunrunning

Lowriders. No militarized bullsh*t, fits the crime theme, beautiful vehicles (at least to me) and a bunch of clothes I'm still wearing to this day.

*sigh* What a great time that was...

SSASSS. If you know me, you know why.

I don't think it's the last update, but I think it will be the last "big" one.

It's not big, it's medium sized, even when you include the dripfeed?

Nah I would say it qualifies as one big update after considering everything in the drip feed. Not big big, but still quite big.

The amount of vehicles aren't what makes an update big or small. It's the overall impact the update has on the game. Nightclubs are big, SSASSS was small. Lowriders was big, Special Vehicle Circuit was small. So on and so forth.

Anyways what I am saying is I can see a lot more Custom Classics, SVC, SSASSS updates in the future.
