Coming GTA remaster?

is VCS coming anytime soon? for PC or mobiles?

It's been over 2 years. I highly doubt that it will come to mobile. R* only do mobile ports for its 10th anniversary and now it's past that. 

 

With PC, VCS was only a PSP exclusive. Same thing with LCS. So no. The only way to get them for PC and mobile is by installing emulator or some mods.

EVEN THOUGH it's 2018 and emulating VCS on your computer is the optimal way to play I very much doubt that R* will release anymore remasters. Especially of VCS, simply because it's not good enough as a financial investment, the return would not be good enough and if they even broke even with remastering VCS.

And of course, as Penguin Bob said, VCS was a PSP exclusive and therefore even if a remaster was done, it most likely would have only been ported to each mobile platform, not PC.

I agree with you because when i was searching grand theft auto vice city strories mobile in twitter i have found some leak about the game coming to PS4 and mobile devices.

Seriously, how old are you? Those tweets you posted are very far from being "leaks". They were made by accounts that aren't related to Rockstar in ANY way. GTA Series Videos just mentioned the possibility of the game coming to more platforms, it did not guarantee it. And the guy who made the second tweet is a total nobody, and he didn't even try to make himself sound any serious other than using a R* image.

Do you have any proofs to say that the tweets are not related to Rockstar Games especially the second one?

btw when i visited his twitter page I have found that his name is Jack Lany and he is an employee at Rockstar game where there is development of few things(like games).

For the first one, GTA Series Videos is a fan YouTube page. Not affiliated with Rockstar Games at all, it even says so in their "About" section on YouTube.

 

As for that Jack Lany one, that is obviously not legit. Loads of typos and tweets that make no sense at all. Including many photoshopped images and then actual screenshots that were just stolen from elsewhere.

It may come to PS4 along with LCS. But other than that I doubt anything else. 

 

The only Legit source thats ever said VCS or LCS are coming to PS4 is the ESRB.

At this point, I think VCS coming to the PS4 is even a longshot. I wouldn't be surprised if both that and the LCS port to the PS4 were simply canceled due to the really poor sales that the mobile re-releases have had. Not to mention, the VCS soundtrack is incredibly extensive and expensive compared to LCS. Licensing all of those songs again would cost a ton of money for Rockstar (and who knows if they'd even be able to keep everything that was originally there, look at what happened to the soundtracks of VC, SA and IV), and there'd be no guarantee that it'd sell well enough to justify how much they'd spend on licensing all of those tracks again.

Dude Rockstar have to make up VCS by releasing it for mobile devices because that is the only game left in the 3d universe which is left to be ported to mobile devices whereas LCS & VCS are the only games left to be ported to PS4 as classics.

Not only that, but they're a business. Their main goal is to make money, not make fans of what is seen now as a niche title happy or make up for anything. Unless VCS can match or outsell GTA Online and its associated revenue, then forget it. The mobile titles never sold well, and while I think Rockstar somewhat cared when they first started releasing them, they probably realized eventually how poorly most sold. And by the time GTA Online entered the picture, they had no reason to mess with porting old games anymore and spending a ton of money on licensing tracks again.

Even that was way beyond when I think they missed the boat. December 2016/January 2017 is when VCS should have had a 10th anniversary since it'd coincide with the 2006 and 2007 releases of the original on the PSP and PS2. After LCS was yet another poor-selling 10th anniversary title (and after Rockstar realized that GTA Online makes them billions of dollars), they really had no incentive to do the same thing over again and pay for even more expensive licensing fees for the music on top of it. GTA IV not even getting a 10th anniversary mention, let alone a release, despite being an even more legendary title pretty much proves that point.

They sold about 50 000 copies of LCS on android, no way we get VCS on mobile after this fiasco.

Not mention renewal of many popular songs that is VCS famous of.

I think no is answer, R* is greedy by this time, they motto is less effort but maximum profit.

Yeah, the releases of the Stories games were missed by many people (including me). If it had a wider release on more devices back then, it would have a lot more interest now. I don't see it happen, surely not anywhere near cost-efficient.

GTA Series isn't an official source. There was never any hint of a mobile version and Rockstar have pretended the ESRB ratings never happened and again, not released this game (along with the others rated) on the ps4. 

 

Trust me on this, I'm probably the most thirsty person on here for VCS Mobile so we can get access to some sweet files but even I've thrown in the towel.
