Alright, so I am so done with this update, everytime I try to sell a big shipment it gets destroyed by some dbag POS in a Deluxo. Who else is having that problem?

I have many times, trolls just trolling, making me wanna quit the game, your best bet is to just solo a public session bud

Yeah, never sell in a full public lobby, GTAO playerbase isn't without a reason considered a collection of the worst types of gamers.

 

If you are on PS4 you can do the MTU trick to get a empty lobby and sell stuff without any problems.

It's taken me between 1 and 7 tries to get a session with nobody else in it since the update. Whenever I load into the game I keep changing session until I get one on my own. It's really not that difficult.

Free Aim lobbies, people are more peaceful. Just try to sell in the most unpopulated lobby you can find & you’ll be fine. Or get some of your friends to guard you.

Got a 4 day solo session of Bunker & Night Club sales last week by using that little trick. Sadly on day 5 my Bunker sales vehicle option wasn't compatible for full solo sales, so I had to end that gloriously griefer free lobby. This week I've been "lending" my solo session public rooms for friends & others whenever they want/need to make a sale, doesn't hurt to be nice now & then.

 

 

With vehicles like the Oppressor MKII coming, don't expect the public session chaos to get any more manageable.

So if you can't handle it now.....well unfortunately the game is only going to get even more frustrating for you.

Join a respectable crew and you will find that when logging into gta online or changing sessions you'll join crew sessions that are often small and no trolling.

just change sessions and keep changing sessions until you find one with few or no players or one with no sign of players with deluxos or oppressors inn player list.

i'm going a bit off topic but early this morning i tried doing ceo work but i kept being attack by two tryhards and one of them basically tried to force me into a 1v1 deathmatch which i pretty much ignored.

they kept attacking me until i went passive then they kept following me until i joined a random survival mode to get away from them.

As someone has said, if you're on Xbox one, do a Nat Test whilst in the game and it will boot everyone else from it leaving you in a public lobby on your lonesome.

 

Or try Free Aim mode. I've found people are less aggressive there. Probably because all the kids or grifers stick to auto aim modes because it's easier to shoot other players without trying too much.

Get a solo public lobby. If you are on PC the task managers resources monitor is your friend.

Sell smart.

 

There are plenty of sessions where nobody is fighting. Before attempting to sell keep an eye on the kill feed for 5 or 10 minutes, if it's quiet then it should be a good session to sell in. Check the map for flying cars, bikes and jets etc. They all have their own symbol, it's not hard to check. Also be aware of bounties as they may be hiding their vehicle.

 

If all else fails, sell with a crew. Quit if attacked. MTU. NAT test. Whatever you do to get a solo public. They still work, they aren't a secret, it's pretty much your own fault if you fail a sale tbh.

GTA Online has the most cancerous playerbase of any game, period. Companies tend to "fight" toxic behavior, R* promotes it. Just follow people's tips in this thread if you wanna have some peace in this game.

This. Or keep switching sessions umtill the game puts you in a small friendly long or a session by yourself. I did a sale mission with friends hovering in deluxos  and hydras just in case of ass hats and dumbasses try some sh*t. PvP is the mode of play nowadays in GTA online and team work is the word of the day. . start a motorcycle club have friends join and sell. They will get paid 30 thousand also.

Still, it is a shame the only answer to the issues are to manipulate things.

 

I fully get it and support people finding their way to enjoy their game. But just a shame.

 

Honestly though OP, you got it easy!

 

Before this DLC, it all had to be on public, and finally R* deliver a business so flexible. And added freemode stuff like business battles to distract some too.

 

Never been a better business for me in these regards.

This is what I do too.

 

Find a low-populated session where there are a few MCs and CEOs and people rarely bother you. If you enter a freemode session with three or four people in a single Organization/crew it's likely they'll try to kick you though. Even if they do, you can find other sessions in a relatively short space of time.

 

Never move big shipments in full lobbies!

Four check the kill feed for 5 mins before you sell. Chances are if there is a repeating name think again

Five check the map for a greider tool if there is one think again

Fun fact: Ghosting wont actually hide your cargo item on the map. This includes crates, Gunrunning cargo Import/Export etc. People dont realize this and waste 20K on Ghost when it's not even working.

Whenever i'm just having fun and do small shipments i stay in public and risk my cargo being destroyed and me having to spend the next 15 minutes annihilating whoever came at me.

No bad feelings there, that's just what public servers are. I mean, rockstar actively promotes going after other players businesses and they've given us an arsenal that would make the average country jealous, so i can't really blame people for using it.

If there's a good bonus week and i just want to make some money: solo public only.
