Grand Theft Auto San Andreas 2-CDs Official Soundtrack

Recommended Posts

This topic is about the GTA SA Official (2 CD) Soundtrack , released in 2004 which also includes "The Introduction" DVD .

Rarity : Very Common .

Price : it depends from the condition : while a used is generally sold for a price between 5 and 10 Dollars , a new and sealed copy can go for as much as 30/40 Dollars .

Description : the front cover is just GTA SA's front cover but square-shaped , while the back features some small artworks of some of the game's characters and a song list . There are also some small logos like R* Games' logo and Interscope Records' logo .

It comes in a nice little black packaging and it opens up firstly in 2 parts , which feature 1 artwork of CJ and 1 artwork of Tenpenny . Then it opens up in four parts .

The first part features another song list , the second contains "The Introduction" DVD and the third and fourth part contains Disc 1 and Disc 2 .

Song List (CD 1) :

- Theme From San Andreas (Michael Hunter)

- Killing In The Name (Rage Against The Machine)

- I Don't Give A f*ck (2 Pac)

- The Payback (James Brown)

- West Coast Poplock (Ronnie Hudson)

- Groove Me (Guy)

- Two Tickets To Paradise (Eddie Money)

Pressure Drop (The Maytals)

- Children's Story (Slick Rick)

- Cold Blooded (Rick James)

- Break 4 Love (Raze)

Song List (CD 2) :

- Funky Worm (Ohio Players)

- Barracuda (Heart)

- Hood Took Me Under (Compton's Most Wanted)

- Think About It (Lyn Collins)

- Rebel Without A Pause (Public Enemy)

- Midlife Crisis (Faith No More)

- Poison (Bell Div Devoe)

- Chase The Devil (Max Romeo & The Upsetters)

- I Know You Got Soul (Eric B & Rakim)

- Crazy (Willie Nelson)

- Head Like A Hole (AFI)

Trivia : The track "Head Like A Hole" doesn't actually appear in the game , and it's just a bonus track . It was probably included just because AFI's label is Interscope Records , which was the one who published the CDs .

There also exists a non-bundled version of "The Introduction" , which was also created in a higher quality . Unfortunately it was only released in Japan (in the NTSC-J format) .

Raze 4 Love was the only song broadcasted on SFUR featured in a GTA SA soundtrack . It is unknown why .
