Nightclub Customization Option - Dry Ice?

Ok I know what Dry ice machines do as I used to do a bit of audio/lighting at events many years ago. I have it selected in game, but turning it on or off and waiting seems to have no noticable (at least to me) effect. I've seen a few people say it's randomized only for certain DJ's, but how they'd know for sure without them being released yet, I don't know. Has anyone seen their club fog up yet? Am I blind, is there a switch somewhere to trigger it manually?

Picture of one in real life if you have no idea what I'm on about

Got this option for the club as well and didn't see it work a single time during a whole afternoon/evening. Think it might be bugged?

I have it enabled as well but it doesn;t seem to do anything.

In club management it does say you allow the dry ice to be used (at certain times, whatever that may mean), but I haven't seen anything happening yet.

I don’t think it’s like the dry ice mist you’ll get in real life, it’s more like that fog you get in clubs

i swear it disappeared when I tried it out last night, but that was whilst I was trying out the new stuff, so I wasn’t playing complete attention to it

remember that club from GTA: Vice City (I can’t remember what it was called) with the pink haze/fog, I think it’s like that

you forgot the legendary  Malibu Club? shame on you 😬

maybe the smoke/dry ice and the lightshow option has an effect on the popularity?

Also bought it, also haven't seen it.

Maybe it's drip-fed with another DJ or an event or something.

There actually are fog (not dry ice) machines placed all around the dance floor but I never saw them in action or found a way to activate them.

What's that like? Do you think it's worth the money we paid?

The DJ turns it on during the set whenever he feels like it. In other words, you pay $345,000 for a feature you don't even get to turn on and off.

I've never seen any Dry Ice machines turn on at all through the update and I've visited several clubs with owners that said they bought them.

It's just a light fog that comes up to about your knees.

It's 100% worth it.  s/

I do think the most expensive lighting is appropriate for the music. Some of the less expensive ones seem fit for a blues show and not a techno rave scene

So after several times of disabling and enabling it, it finally started working. It's like those subtle mists/ fog you get just on the dance floor area but I have yet to see if the intensity of it increases during beat drops or something.

Update: It happens at the start of each new set of music the DJ mixed for the game, there'll be a short pause of music and that's when it happens, I'll add a video here asap on it happening.

P.S How do you embed a video in this forum? 🤔

I saw it the first time today as a crew mate who just had opened a club switched the guest style from Tech to EDM.

Here's a snapshot showing what's left over of it. It's actually a bit more prominent if it's fresh.

ah so it's not really a dry ice setup, merely a Fogger type smoke machine. That makes more sense, thanks for uploading the video, makes it easy to see what it's actually doing

Ok, so this MAY be a stretch on the dry ice not showing up, but for those who have seen it, what is your light rig setup?

ive seen it in a couple clubs and on the vids/pics I’ve seen, yet none of them have the Laser rig (the 4th one, most expensive option)

Just the overheard lights

maybe the Laser rig has an effect on it?

again, it’s just a theory based on observations. Could be wrong

I can confirm it works with the Laser lightrig, but I have only seen it work at the VERY beginning of the set. The smoke is so thin you could easily miss it if you weren't looking for it.

Prince_Polaris

I have lazers and smoke and dancers and so on and I haven't seen smoke (as far as I can remember)

that doesn't mean it doesn't happen, it's just that I doubt I would've made the connection between "dry ice machine" and "gentle fog inside the club"

If they can increase the density of the fog and the amount of times it activates then it would be better
