New Trophy's

so it took what seemed like days for the star trophy on Tony's desk to go from bronze to silver... literally this morning is when it changed... I contact mission afked while I slept and when I returned it was gold...

 

So yeah... I guess that's a thing. No more ducks to hatch over my popularity now.

It's possible that you can get the trophies if you sell separately, for example 50 today and 50 tomorrow but the amount of crates you have sold must be equal to the maximum amount of crates your club can hold.

This is bugged in the game if that's true. I sold a full shipment of 5 floors worth of counterfeit cash and had no trophy even after waiting a few days for it to show up. I then sold a special shipment that included 7 pieces of counterfeit cash and the trophy was there when I got back to the nightclub.

I'm inviting every full lobby I join to my nightclub, so the total is slowly creeping up. Seem to have more success with noob-heavy sessions. Still only just cleared 20 though!

i did what my friend did by just texting everyone in the lobby “free money drop on my club dance floor” then i invited everyone to the club. got the award done in like a few sessions along with questions and angry texts lmao

Can someone please help me out here; what are the requirements for the number one nightclub trophy to become gold? Is it 11.2hrs of over 90% popularity for a total of 11.2hrs or is it 11.2 hrs in one go (if it drops below the 90%mark the timer resets)? 

I have seen it said that it is in one run however that doesn't make much sense to me so I figured it is cumulative.

What is this contact mission afking you speak of? What does it do? (I'm nearly level 800 and have never heard of this)

Go in any contact mission. Walk into an apartment you own. Watch TV (impotent rage, prb, just not cameras) plug controller in enjoy your day.

Mc/bunker stock will process

NC stock accrues. 

You do not pay daily charges

It's remained silver for about two weeks, no matter how many DJs I re-promote, takings at 10k, dancing or celebs I pick up. I think it's bugged - it surely can't take two weeks to turn from silver to gold? Any other experiences, tips?

Yes just like if you were in freeroam.

Edit:Protip: fill supplies wait till little tick of supplies goes down. Buy supplies for $15k. Start a contact mission afk BEFORE shipment arrives for however long it takes for supplies to process. Return to freeroam. Shipment arrives. Full shipment for 15k instead of 75k (60k off coupon!)

 

And people seriously had a problem with bunker research?

Mine was bronze for 2 weeks then one day it decided to be silver and evolved to gold later that same day

For my gold, I did concentrate on it more. I got my popularity to full, then I'd doodle between freemode and contact missions until 2 clicks, a quarter of a bar is a tic, had passed. Gave me 20k and then ran a promo to refill the 2 clicks.

 

Repeated until I came into the club and it was there. I believe it's 14 days. But unsure if that's total or in a row, so went with the latter, lol.

 

Hope it helps, though a tad boring for some.

Lol, yeah. I believe in a row too. Just a few bugs in consistency for some with the statues/ornaments that this could too.

 

The kick thing. When I do, I make sure the TV is being watched full scteen and I change channels a few times before leaving as to be sure to register I'm properly watching it. Thougb this comes from PS4 so possibly won't help.

 

Hard to imagine they'd do thing much differently in this regard between PS4 and Xone, IMO, but I'm not sure, lol.

If you get kicked from watching TV you're doing it wrong. Change view so that it's full screen. Check after 20 minutes, it'll take 15 to kick you. Speed this up by turning off the controller once watching TV. If after 15 minutes you're still on the screen saying to connect a controller you should be good to go.

 

Try a garage TV if apartment TV doesn't work.

 

Failing that, just rubber band the controller, but make sure it's plugged in to the console with a USB data cable. Spin in circles and you don't get kicked. My second xbox has sat there for over a week, outside the club, spinning in circles, no kick. Same should work in a contact mission.

Are you on PC, PS4, or XBOX? I have no issues on PS4 and turn off my controller. There are some weird system idle settings you need to change on XBOX, or else the system boots you, and I've heard you should plug in your XBOX controller too.

Ah yes, idle options. Turn them off on xbox one otherwise you will be kicked whatever you try.

I think I know what it is; I was sitting on my sofa watching TV in the distance instead of having it full screen. My controller was hard-wired, yes, and my XBox has a six-hour turn off option, so that isn't the issue either. I'll try again later when I can get GTA online.

Anybody not receive t-shirt dancing to Dixon for 60 minutes? I'm on xbox1. I did switch dj's at like 50 minutes, then switched back to complete. Received $20k and achievement shows completed, but no option for Tee in store. Anybody know of a fix?
