Yesterday a friend of mine was kicked out of a club. He said he was just pressing random buttons as he doesn't know how to dance and started a fight.

I tried too but failed.

So my question is : how do I get kicked out of a club ?

I was told the Speedo holds up to 90 units. More than that and you might as well just get the pounder and bypass the Mule. I did.

Awesome, thanks!

Dance right in front of the bouncer.

Two simple questions!

1. If I buy a "clean" nightclub now (no options selected, so only base price paid) - can I renovate it like other properties and get all the optional stuff still?

2. I've already chosen two locations that I like for my characters. Do they matter much with regards to missions after the initial set-up?

Free cookie for a quick responder. To be delivered at a later date.

EDIT: I think someone mentioned earlier in this thread that if you choose one of the four custom lighting rigs you cannot use the default one any longer. That's fine by me, I care more about starting with the standard one and then being able to switch to (and between) the custom ones.

1. Yes, as with all properties.

2. Not really. Although Airport and Elysian Island can be a pain to get to with the weird road systems down in those areas... and the Elysian Island club has an obstruction outside the garage entrance which caused a friend of mine to move to a different club.

1. Yes you can renovate after buying.

2. Yes the location matters. I suggest going around to each one before slamming the buy button, I only visited 2 before falling in love with the La Mesa one. I'd do it in a crowded public (passive shoppppiiiiing!) to get a good look at the most popular / toxic locations now that most players own one.

Damn can we share the cookie Khopesh?

Lol that's a pretty twisted dirty joke when read out of context ... atleast with my nutty nogen :D

Sure! :cookie:

Also, high-fives for picking La Mesa! My club and all my CEO stuff is in that neighbourhood! 🤘😎

You will both get a cookie! It may not arrive for a good couple years, but I'll make sure it's properly packed in plastic.

I have checked out every location already. I eliminated a couple easily, including the airport and elysian island ones Khopesh mentioned. A few locations looked nice with entrances off of the main roads, in an alley or facing a private(ish) parking lot. And I did consider the implications of populated sessions. But honestly, I wasn't planning on doing a lot of business in populated sessions. I prefer the empty ones. MTU seems to work well for that (at least now it still does).

Without having gone to see where other people seem to be located in populated sessions, I'm guessing the more expensive locations will be more popular. I was considering going for the one on vespucci and the one in cypress flats. But I didn't like the cypress one much and while vespucci looked nice enough, I fell in love with La Mesa. I've been going to the area many times over the years due to active routes to properties (Murrieta Heights, Unit 2, etc.), the nearby mod shop and more. It's got a nice large area out front and yeah, it's dangerously close to a much travelled road but you can also drive the other way. Get on the train tracks, into the canal or onto the bridge just to the south with a jump. But like I said, I usually don't have to worry about that.

And for my second character I'm most likely going the West Vinewood one. Looks like the door is on the street, but I think I want my girl to have a fancy location. So there.

EDIT: If I was much richer than I am right now, I would totally buy multiple or all of the locations if I could. For night clubs at least, maybe also the other types of properties. I wouldn't even need to get additional storage (could be shared instead or w/e), saved heists or any type of income from it whatsoever. It'd just be fun to be able to go to any of the spots and walk in.

EDIT 2: I'm guessing that there's a slide door for delivery stuff (set-up I suppose) and a regular single main door as entrance? I'm a sucker for details like that.

Is there any info on how the Club Entrance Fee affects Popularity of the Club?

They don't and it's only use to charge real players, not NPC's.  You don't get any extra money regardless how much the entrance fee is. It's pointless.

Other players can enter your club? What's the point of this? I hope it's not necessary in order to make the most out of the club because then I may have to reconsider what I said above about avoiding populated sessions.

Checked that and it is switched on.

Since realised that it doesn't show if you're in the middle of doing a promotion or a Head Hunter, which I think is the reason why it wasn't showing up for me.  I'm too impatient to wait for it to happen haha!  I'll try again.

The game seems to favor those who actually play it the least. 😆 (see AFK gaming, mission timmers vs payouts, and other oddities)

The NC refreshingly does not require any other players (so far) to do anything, including full sell missions.

Excellent. That sounds like I can safely buy the clubs. I don't remember Rockstar making any such significant changes to previous content (requiring players for was solo content before) but even if they do, should be enough time to get back the money spent on the clubs.

Thank you, random citizen!

How to hell do you make money with your nightclub? I have done almost 20 promotion missions and gained about 80k. It took ages. Meanwhile I have only gotten one package in the warehouse. It would be nice to get some money after investing almost 2m into this...

The club will auto-generate cash depending on popularity (up to $10,000 per in-game day). The way to make money in the club is to hire technicians to gather stock from your CEO crate, bunker, and biker businesses, and sell that stock occasionally.

If you don't have any of the biker businesses like I did, get a coke factory. It pays the most by a fair margin, and assign your one starting tech to that.  Additional techs can be hired to work on more things, but don't hire more than you need. If you only have 2 things, don't hire more than 2 techs because you can't assign multiple techs to the same thing.  Collecting stuff in your warehouse takes a long time. It's the price you pay for basically not having to do anything to accrue these things.  (NOTE: Import/Export is the only business venture you CAN'T link to the club. You still have to do that yourself.)

I just turn my controller off when I'm AFKing and it still works fine, maybe because I have background music player open (but paused).

You don't get to choose, it's assigned based on how much stock you're selling (Speedo -> Mule -> Pounder as stock increases).

Apparently the Pounder can also cover the Mule size deliveries though, so you can skip buying the Mule and you'll always be given the Speedo for 90 units and the Pounder for everything above that.

Speedo is the quickest and the roof mounted gun is pretty awesome, so it's considered the best.

I've taken the max armour off all 3 sale vehicles and gone for the second-best - will I notice the difference in terms of being shot by NPCs/players?

The vehicles sure as sh*t handle better without the useless, heavy plows on the front.

I'll try this but he told me it happened while dancing and pressing random buttons, starting a fight. Maybe he was dancing near a bouncer not knowing it...

You know why noone else said that? Because it's so obvious noone had to say it. And players who think PvP is the only activity in GTA:O aren't going to change their mind because of a little dancing.

Good attempt, though!

I am thinking about putting the Reinforced Riot Armour on my Speedo to get rid of the ram. The only thing thats stopping me is the back windows, with the heaviest armour they are completely bulletproof. I fear that the mesh on the back of the Riot Armour is just for show and they windows will eventually shatter from NPC's shooting me while chasing.

I've barely been able to play because of work.

What's the general consensus of nightclubs in terms of making money?

Can my daily nightclub income go over 10k a day?

Do the NPC's go away during the day?

How fast does popularity increase?

Is there anything I can do to generate money with nightclubs besides keeping popularity up? Is it just a waiting game for other stock??

Thehunteroftruth

What happens if you try to sell a full nightclub and you didn't buy the punder custom?

Also can someone with the 2nd most expensive warehouse make me a screenshot of where you and your delivery vehicle spawn after you start a sell mission please?

I would like to know that as well. I got stuck 3 times in random places just because of that plow...
Thank god we have ramp cars for situations like those.

The one sale I've made since removing it, I didn't get shot by pursuing NPCs at all. Will see how this plays out.

Pistol Bobcat

Can anyone else confirm if the helicopter exploits for Pacific Standark are patched? I'm unable to find an answer with search. And when atempting it last night, the Maverick/Buzzard we used to steal from the small station near the Rooftop Rumble point simply refused to spawn. 😛

Tbh, pacific standard is dated and outplayed now, so I won't be too devastated if this is the case.
