Which is the best nightclub to buy?

Which properties has that been true for? Not disagreeing either, just trying to take stock.

Apartments? I don't know how you'd determine which one is the best. I quite like Alta St, Eclipse, and Integrity Way, but I like many (just not Del Perro, urgh)

Offices? Maze Bank Tower and Arcadius are my favourites (most expensive and third most expensive)

Warehouses? Darnell Bros is the best (most expensive)

Vehicle Warehouses? La Puerta is my favourite (2nd most expensive)

MC Clubhouses? I don't visit mine at all so don't really know what separates them.

Bunkers? Farmhouse is the best (most expensive)

Hangars? Fort Zancudo Hanager 3499 is the best (2nd most expensive)

Facilities? Grand Senora Desert is my favourite (3rd most expensive)

Nightclubs? Downtown Vinewood is my favourite (2nd most expensive)

It's not true in general, "2nd most expensive being the best" is something that became a thing because people had to justify buying the cheaper Yacht.

I forgot about the yachts. To be fair, the second most expensive yacht was better (faster vehicles, easier access front to rear, roof protection for Piracy Prevention capture point). Although I do prefer the most expensive yacht now because the wide open space around the rear helipad makes landing the Avenger there a piece of cake.

LOL, Oh dear, lets NOT re-open that can of Worms again. your right about PP but the fastest vehicle on my Yacht was/is a Hydra. ;)

For me, Mission Row is best. It's close to my office and MC club house, it's also close to the highway which helps. It's also pretty close to a spawn point for aircraft.

It sucks for landing choppers and planes and you can't get a vehicle around the alley from front to rear but once you know the way to the rear it's fine.

Hmm it's something I've been saying, and it's because almost without exception it's the quietest location. Tryhards must have the most expensive, grinders and casuals go cheap, no f*cker goes 2nd-most. Lombank West for instance is by far the quietest office.

It's a rule of thumb, often subjective but there's something to it. The most expensive choice is usually not the best one. Sometimes it's not #2 but #3 that's better. It checks out with:

  • High-end apartments, original interiors: Weazel Apt 101 (#2) is better located and has more presentable entrance than Eclipse Apts (#1), in particular a great garage.
  • High-end apartments, upgraded vs original: Richards Majestic Apt 51 and Tinsel Apt 29 (each #2 in the building, original interiors) both have better view than the upgraded ones, RM Apt 2 and Tinsel Apt 42 respectively.
  • Stilt houses: most people seem to think 2044 N Conker (#2)  has better view than Wild Oats (#1), with the additional benefit that the exterior matches the interior (although personally I still prefer Wild Oats, #2 is definitely not worse)
  • Offices: Arcadius (#3) is more presentable, convenient to enter and land on rooftop. Lombank's (#2) location is slightly off the center but it's even more convenient to enter and land on, and also has an excellent view. Either of them is better than Maze (#1), which doesn't even live up to expectations in terms of the view
  • Bunker: Smoke Tree Rd (#3) better than Farmhouse (#1) (difficult to get to freeway) or Thomson Scrapyard (#2) (personal vehicle spawns far away)
  • Facility: Sandy Shores (#2) has excellent access right off the freeway, Land Act Reservoir (#1) is closer to city but more annoying to drive to
  • Hangar: Zancudo 3499 (#2) better than A2 (#1)
  • Yacht: Pisces (#2) over Aquarius (#1) (probably the most subjective)
  • Nightclubs: Downtown Vinewood (#2) has better access and location, Del Perro (#3) is more presentable, each is better than West Vinewood (#1)

Does not check out:

  • High-end apartments, upgraded interiors: Penthouse Ste 3 (#1), with the city view, is clearly the best
  • Apartments in Blaine County: in Paleto Bay, 4401 Procopio Dr (#1, mid-range) is the one to get; 140 Zancudo (#1 in Sandy Shores, low-end) has better location than the (relatively) nearby 1893 Grapeseed, maybe unless you want to hike Chiliad
  • Crate Warehouses: Darnell Bros (#1) is considered the best, although Logistics Depot (#5) is also a good choice
  • Vehicle Warehouse: I'm only familiar with Elysian Island (#2 cheapest), which works out very well if you use railroad tracks and even better with Cargobob, although it seems La Puerta (#2) is considered the best choice, while Murietta Heights (#1) isn't that popular (?), not sure about the reason

Can't say anything about MC businesses as I don't have them.

The best one to buy is the best one you like. Unless you always play with the same people, you will probably see a different area being most used per session. All interiors are the same, so that’s no reason to choose one either. Like an area? The approach? Parking space outside? Roof? Or does it matter not? Pick one at your prefered location.

Play your own game. I’ve actually never understood why people need help picking a location for stuff when you end up in different sessions each time anyway.

Thanks for the super-detailed response. I know it's all very subjective, but I wanted to offer some of my thoughts on the ones I left in the quote above.

Eclipse is my preferred option for Heists over Weazel Plaza, since so many involve driving to Blaine County. I do think Weazel is much cooler, but the split garage from apartment is also annoying sometimes.

On offices, the Maze Bank Tower helipad might be my favourite location in GTA V: the view combined with the subtle sound effects is unbeatable. I do use Arcadius these days though.

Bunkers: Farmhouse or Chumash, they're so much better for solo full bunker sales since they're simply closer. I bought Smoke Tree Rd on my second character and traded it in for the Farmhouse as soon as I could.

Facility: Grand Señora Desert is the best if you want to go for Act 1 or Act 3 elite, and the Sandking XL money tree at your front door is nice.

Vehicle Warehouse: La Puerta is nicely positioned for sales, slightly better than Murietta due to being further West. But its biggest advantage is that you can easily park four cargobobs out the front, and that trumps all :)

Seeing the both of you debate about which nightclub is the best leaves me with two, possibly three, choices with West Vinewood in mind.

Downtown Vinewood seems tempting and convenient, but Strawberry satisfies my imagination. The Rimm Paint building is a massive standalone warehouse with two similar looking, but smaller buildings behind it, which I envision as extensions of the main building. Also, massive underground garages and storage space seems plausible for a structure with that much real estate.

The roof is spacious enough for multiple aircrafts and I imagine the blimp looking impressive parked on the top, stationary, and promoting for the club with views from the freeway and downtown Los Santos. Furthermore, the freeway is adjacent to it, providing quick access to almost any location.

Truthfully, it reminds me of how many of the major (mainstream and underground) clubs of NYC in the 90’s were. A lot were in warehouses/factories located near the west side of Manhattan or along the West Side Highway. Almost everything imaginable went on in these areas at night. Drug dealing and sex trafficking came with the territory and there was a lot of sex trafficking.

Im not too familiar with the LA night scene, but in NYC, it’s not common for big name clubs to be located in expensives neighborhoods. Residents would petition to shut it down ASAP.

Though there were and still are some exclusive high profile clubs in many of the expensive areas of NYC, they go easily unnoticed if a person doesn’t know what they're looking for or is not in the know e.g. rooftops, hotels, lounges (private and public) under corporate and some residential buildings etc.

For the most part, nightclubs of the 80’s-90’s, whether mainstream or underground, would typically be neighboring each other i.e. next door, across the street, around the corner etc.

Anyway, Tony’s from LC and my characters from LC, so it’s like bringing the old and current NYC club scene to LA.

That’s my imagination for you.

I’m still contemplating and won’t rush into making a purchase yet. While Strawberry gives a nostalgic feeling and appears to be the most practical for how everything would be set up IRL, I’m still a grinder that favors convenience over complexity. Decisions, decisions.

My heart said Del Perro because of the looks of the building and proximity to the beach. My brain wanted convenience because the ultimate goal for me is to make money.

I love that everyone bought Del Perro cause they thought the West Vinewood was going to be the most popular cause it cost the most, now it's the reverse cause everyone bought Del Perro and that's popular one.

I agree, while with yachts it was a no brainer, (who wants a terrible handling helicopter and no roof during piracy prevention) but with realestate often it the most expensive being bad because it's the most expensive .    Lombankwest is definitely better than that super busy skyscraper and Eclipse Towers has been a clusterfk since day one as most simpletons just buy the most expensive things assuming it's the best.   With warehouses logistics has always been a concern, my vehicle warehouse is near the train line so I can get to and from with minimal damage from NPCs by just driving on the train tracks.

You make a good pitch.

I solo public lobbies frequently, so crowded lobbies are never an issue for me. My office (Maze Tower), stilt home (2nd most expensive), second apt (still own the Laguna safe house ), MC clubhouse (most expensive), and warehouse (Darnell Bros.) are all within distance. Downtown Vinewood and Strawberry are literally on the same road that leads to most of my property.

While typing this, I noticed an NPC racing through the DV parking lot. LOL I don’t know about that. Strawberry’s looking good right about now. LOL

With convenience I don't mean the absence of other players nearby, but rather things like parking spots, travel distance/time to objectives etc. I've had one sell mission so far where I had to drop off multiple packages with a couple of them being in Blaine County. At that moment I was really happy I went for the Downtown Vinewood nightclub. I also only do sell missions in solo public lobbies.

I've seen a few NPCs drive up the parking lot next to my nightclub to park their car (but never more than one) and the usual pedestrians walking by, but it's a non-existent problem really. I've always been able to land my aircraft/park my car regardless of the NPCs. Worst case is that I drive them over, but it's not like the game punishes you for that.

When I bought my vehicle warehouse,  after much deliberation, I settled on Elysian island. Railway access, lots of overhead protection on approach, relatively quiet location, free cargobob etc.

A year later, and several thousand sortees in the vicinity, I still think I made the right choice, even bought a small cargo warehouse next door.

The only downside of Elysian island was there was never anywhere to live, apartment, garage, somewhere to call home.

And then came my club, slap bang between I/E and cargo warehouse. I was a tad concerned with it being the cheapest and that it might be too popular, but most folk seem to think the island is too obscure and that’s the key to this place.

so now I got somewhere to live, store loads of cars, and it’s a bangin club to boot. Happy, happy, happy

^ once you realize that Elysian islands is best accessible by railroads (even though GPS doesn’t recognize them), it’s a game-changer. NPC enemies can’t use them, there’s no traffic, and it’s even safer from other players (since you’re less expected to be seen there and lots of it is underground). I never lose supply trucks. Also, personal aircraft can spawn all over the place there.

That said, Del Perro is a cool location and close to my office so that was my final choice. But all my biker businesses are on the island and you really can’t go wrong there.

Mission Row would be another great choice in my opinion. It’s central, and if you know where the hole in the freeway wall is (Pillbox hill, also not recognized by GPS), it has amazing accessibility from the west. That’s why the Medium warehouse in Textile city is so sweet too

For me it Del perro location because I love location like Piro above said. But hate the service entrance since alleyway to small imo. But  other one close to Del Pero has great service entrance.

Since the latest update you can now spawn in your vehicle warehouse (there was always a bed there anyway).

I also have the Elysian Island one, and agree it's a great location.

Now if the kind folk at R* would just make me a swanky docklands apartment, on the island

maybe in the same building as the nightclub, 2 storeys should suffice and maybe a roof terrace, helipad, pool would be nice...

Which one has the best landing zone for the service entrance corona, coming in hot with battle crates? That's pretty much what matters to me from now on. Highway access always a plus. Ideally need to get Akula or Savage rotor disc in it.

My Del Perro one is nice but there's a car park overshadowing it.

Of course. I completely understood what you meant by convenience and that’s exactly what I was looking for.

As for the NPC’s, that’s never an issue. I just thought it was funnny that an NPC randomly drove through the lot while I was replying to your post. Lol That alone won’t determine my final decision. I really appreciate your input and you sharing some of your experiences with the Downtown Vinewood location.

Nonetheless, I opted for the Strawberry location, for now. My decision may differ in the upcoming days or weeks. In the meantime, the location, look of the property, and it’s close proximity to all my other properties, not too mention that sense of nostalgia I get from it, gives me peace of mind. It feels like the right choice for me, which is a subjective one.

FWIW, I bought the Cypress Flats club and, despite a few popularity missions that take me to Vinewood and Vespucci, it's easy to access (garage entrance on the street) and sees little PVP traffic.

I hope you like Strawberry so much that you don't have to change later on, because buying another nightclub isn't cheap. I'm glad you're happy with your choice. Worst part about Downtown Vinewood for me are the trash cans near the front door, but I almost never enter my nightclub that way and I spend more time inside my nightclub than outside my nightclub right next to the front door.

Also, I recently heard of someone switching from Del Perro to Downtown Vinewood and the reason for it was that when doing a sell mission you spawn near the front door and have to run all the way south, a little bit past your garage door to reach the delivery vehicle which became a hassle for her.

I like it a lot. Thanks! I haven’t sold any product yet, so I’ll see how that goes later on. Other than that, I’m having fun at that location and club management missions have been fast and simple.

The furthest I’ve gone was to retrieve a delivery truck from the Lost in Stab City (their town in Blaine County). The main road connecting to the small bridge near their territory leads to the highway that brings me right back to the club. That’s convenient enough for me.

There’s a lot going on in and near Strawberry from Benny’s, the car wash, Vanilla Unicorn, Ammunation, the grocery store, the clothing store, and a personal vehicle spawn a minute away in the LS River. My MOC spawns up the block between the nightclub and Maze Tower office. The heliport for Pegasus vehicles is nearby, LSIA isn’t far neither and two LSC shops are close by with one of them being an exit away off the freeway.

Also, I like being able to park my car directly in front of the nightclub and not have to move or go on the sidewalk for NPC’s to drive by. There’s plenty of space for everyone. LOL

She must’ve rushed her purchase and bought the club based on popularity and not so much on research.

I formerly want to buy the Del Perro one but it will makes me break, so I bought the Vespucci one. It has an open parking lot(only ornament) and looks like a Illegal place.

Actually the most expensive is looks no good, it near trash cans and has a big billboard on the top what makes this club looks like a gay club.

As far as I am aware Nightclubs are like most stuff of late, bunkers, facility, ceo buildings, most apartments no difference on the inside all you seem to be paying for is their map location.

I’m tempted to switch my second character’s club away from Del Perro/mall area due to the spawn point for personal vehicles being a small jog from the exit and around the adjacent parking garage.

is there a list of clubs that don’t have this minor annoyance?

Downtown Vinewood fixes this issue perfectly.
