Ahh well I normally play solo, where the only enemies I really have to worry about are the APC and Valkyrie guys, everyone else is easy enough to deal with. It might be different for other people's situation and I can definitely see it being useful for any of the meme vehicles, but I kinda miss firing guns off motorcycles and whacking random NPCs with melee or those superb kicks.

Speed glitch still working? I can’t seem to get it to work today, like not once. Yesterday it was never a problem except for the odd bad start...

 

Might sell this piece of sh*t when the speed glitch is fixed, it’s just no fun at all without it.

I think Cockstar might be browsing these forums and seeing that the speed glitch is turning out to be really useful.

 

Wouldn't it require a patch update for it to be fixed?

Yeah it would, and it's not fixed either way.  I did it about 10 minutes ago.

Even from almost a standstill when first accelerating.

Funny, in my experience I've had more luck going upwards first, lol.

I always get some speed before boosting tho, never from a standstill. I'll try that technique later (nose down first from a standstill).

Might just be aesthetic but as long as I'm holding R1 and get a down/up motion in during boost it sticks.

I just get up to full speed and then start rocking then hit boost. Almost never fails.

 

Pro tip 2: you can let off the throttle long enough to recharge the boost and still maintain the high speed.

My God this thing is OP with the speed glitch. You are literally untouchable when doing it. Rockets lock on just fine, and they hit vast majority of the time. Other players' rockets will never catch up to you. You can dominate a lobby with this thing.

 

I had this scrub orbital me for no reason, and he got onto his MKII Oppressor. This is where he made a big mistake. I must had got like 20 kills on this dude. His rockets were useless, and every time he ran away, I would catch up to him in just seconds. It's cheap, I know, but he deserved it. The regular Oppressor is pretty much a punching bag for the MKII with the speed glitch. It's just asking for death.

 

If you went up against another speed glitched MKII, I don't think anyone would get a kill. I wonder how it would compare to the glitched lightweight Oppressor, though.

I did a flyby on some dude at street level who shot me off the bike while I zoomed by, I called bullsh*t when it happened cause I was hauling ass but this game is stupid and lets you lock onto blurs

Yeah. I blasted a couple speed glitchers with the combat mg,  no problem. Autoaim, of course.

Just.. (why does this flying sh*t have some OP missile that track you everywhere, and the fighter jet don't have? I mean.. it's totally BS that a warplane with missile and explosive round could be destroyed by a single missile of this thing.. but yeah, let's nerf the B-11 canon so it's not too OP.

I got the glitch to work about 2 seconds after I posted yesterday  I agree with those mentioning that you should begin nose-down, as that seems to work better.

 

And yes, they should nerf it. Remove the rockets! Who needs them anyway? Lol

Holy crap! This is invaluable info. Because of this tip, i figured out that once you hit the glitch, you can totally release the throttle and just dolphin to maintain the speed. The boost recharges fast and you can turn significantly faster.  Good find, FukN!

 

Edit- for clarification, once you get up to speed, there is no need to use the throttle at all. Just dolphin to maintain your speed indefinitely.

I never do the speed glitch near ground level, so no one could ever get a lock on me. I'm always in the air.

I gotta say on PC the control layout is horribly awkward.

They should produce a lessor expensive scooter model without arms but countermeasures and not fix this glitch just as a quick little cruiser to get around the map faster. I counted going diagonally 6.9 miles across the map took 1.35 minutes. Thats from Paleto Bay  Bunker to Eislyian Island. This thing hauls balls!

Probably just you. Today, I took out like 30 MKII's with mine, and I got BS points for all of them. They always come after me, sometimes during Special Cargo sourcing, so I give them a taste of their own medicine. Once they get taken out, they request another one and come back for some more.

 

BS points and insurance really need to be taken off these things.
