Yeah, I’m gonna get me one of these if only to use it for show, as a deterrent. Thanks for your input, guys.

Deterrent to what? You literally cannot win against them, you can only tit for tat slap fight until someone gives up. By one by all means but just deny them what they want.

Two of these working together will dominate an entire Lobby, I don't care how good you think you are or what an "Ace Flyer" you are you will die in the crossfire. Even if you manage to shoot one down it will be back on you ass in less than a minute.

I'm really interested to see what this thing is actually like. The speed glitch is the reason it's SOOOOOOOO op right now. I'd bet it's not an easy patch to make.

No, the reason its "SOOOOOOOO op right now" is the facts that it is so small, has accurate missiles, insane mobility, countermeasures and can be summoned by the MC menu. A speed boost does not make it OP seeing as toy cannot fight like that nor raise or lower yourself without loosing the boost.

The Ultralight had a super speed glitch as well, didn't make it OP.

The speed glitch is the best thing about it, I finally feel free and not troubled by "go here, go there, go back" types of missions. Too bad they will eventually patch it like they did with the first oppressor... Such a shame, so much virtual wind in my face... Oh well.

I strongly believe these are regular missiles like the Buzzard’s.

@Happy Hunter Dude Im sure you know it by now but I have to point out, please scratch that lol. Ive been playing around with the MkII in Headhunter and now I realize those are definitively NOT Buzzard missiles. Way more nimble than those. Must be the Stromberg ones like you pointed out. Sorry for the confusion everyone.

@RyuNova Uhh, what? I said I’m getting one (Mk2, that is) so me and my friends can use them together as a deterrent, seeing as you clearly stated that seeing several of these in one session is reason enough to leave that session altogether. You say ”You literally cannot win against them”, well, also based on what you said, if I get one I might not even have to TRY to win.

Furthermore, you say ”Two of these working together will dominate an entire Lobby, I don't care how good you think you are or what an "Ace Flyer" you are you will die in the crossfire.”

So if two is enough to dominate a session, what does that make four of them?

And yes, I do consider myself at least a bit of an ”Ace Flyer” when it comes to helicopters at least, but that’s completely beside the point as helicopters were never even a part of this particular discussion. I know they’re toast when it comes to countering these Mk2 bastards. And well, yeah, two of these Mk2 Oppressors going head to head... seeing as it requires little skill to get kills with them of course it will be a ”tit for tat slap fight”.

Sorry about the bold text, but I feel that I’m being overly misinterpreted and unnecessarily questioned so I’m just trying to increase my chances at being properly understood.

No its me, I am trying to do too many things at once and not checking what I am typing.

What I mean is that buying one wont be a deterrent because any conflict will just evolve into an OpMkII tit for tat with no winner. You cannot win against them, only draw.

Two will dominate any session and any griefer until they also get theirs out and you are just killing each other and he's getting what he wants.

Missiles are easy to dodge in a pyro, you can harass and spam missiles all day long they dodge missiles well but eventually missile spam hits the mk2 I been harassing everyone in a mk2 and they also can't climb so its easy to gain altitude swoop down spam missiles.

Why don't we settle this once and for all? We can definitely battle it out.

I think perhaps you mean "outrun" and not "dodge".

I have been flying in circles they don't hit me many just spam until they run out, but yes you can easily outrun them in a pyro too.

Exactly, you're flying in a circle with the missiles behind you trying to catch up, but due to them being slightly slower while turning they can't. You "outrun" the missiles, not "dodge" them. It's the exact same tactic you use against both normal and Deluxo missiles.

Running away is not fighting.

Flying in circles is a strategy, I don't run away I usually kill them or they jump off.

I will say though its much harder to hit a opmk2 than an deluxo, probably the most difficult to hit out of them all.

My Oppressor MK II locks onto players like nothing even whilst doing the speed boost. Today, I fired at a rocket another MK II, and I thought my speed glitch went, but it didn't, surprisingly. It is OP with the speed boost.

It's not optional. At least for now. These replaced both deluxos and oppressors. They. Are. Everywhere. I bought one and while I love my Akula I can't cover ground as fast and can't take out MkIIs as efficiently as I can with this.

Mine is insane. Head on vs other MkIIs seems to usually go in my favor. The speed thing makes it an all around great vehicle. I almost never used my MC. Now I almost never use my CEO. Kind of sad it came to this but I'm glad I'm able to be effective on it.

And yeah, 2 medium skilled players can own a lobby in these.

I really like this SR flying bike. I don't use it for for bad behavior, just for jobs and stunts. :) But I really wish the hand brake would allow decent, and the placement of the boost button is bad ... I keep on boosting after I do a hack or something similar on the phone. :(

My Deluxo still gets use when it's raining in my game. I hate rain in real life enough to also hate it in games. And I'm using it always when doing The Los Santos Connection. Somehow, I love doing that CM.

If only Flipper had more missiles and keep me sheltered from rain, then my Deluxo might retire.....

What is the best way to land quickly?

You have three options:

Nose down and wait.

Wall ride a building, straight down.

OR... jump off and have a new one waiting via MC menu.

OMG! These damned things are everywhere. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting at least one or two. And they Shoot. At. Everything.

I don't want to say it out loud because, well... I'm kinda enjoying having some father-son time with my kids and dont want to give the wrong impression. But 2 players owning server riding OP'd MkIIs confirmed. I'm curious if any of you other trouble makers have noticed what I noticed and my son confirmed today; after having to land and re-load our MkIIs an insane number of times over the course of several hours we never got into trouble.

I really love this bike

It's not really a nuisance, in fact a Homing Launcher practically kills it

It's great fun....

My only real fault with it is that it's hard to land it low enough that you don't splat and lose some health

I retired my Deluxo and am using this as my go to vehicle in FR for now.

I run chaff on my little wasp colored Mk2 and I haven't been shot down once

Chaff seems to handle anything it's maneuverability cannot

Hear a lock, pop the chaff and dodge their one missile

f*cking easy mode, this thing

I tried one earlier today in modded single player because I don't have the money for it right now in online, plus I've been a bit too preoccupied with the new World of Warcraft expansion to make more, but when I tried the speed boost glitch it did a number on my fps, I dropped from 90+ all the way down to around 3 fps, and it happened each time I tried it, dunno what's going on, maybe something in single player is freaking it out, or my settings are screwing it up, but it's weird, never seen that happen before.

Oh it's probably obvious but I'll say it for good measure, I'm on PC.
