RyuNova
Hit and run tactics against something bigger will always win, this thing can spam missiles faster than any aircraft can launch Flares. Chaff does not disable an already established or loading Lock-On meaning if this thing gets the drop on you your press much done as it pummels you will missile after missile. Once you run out of Missile simply bail and sky dive to the ground, dismiss your OpMkII and recall it and begin the assault again. Guest
First time for everything. Was flying around on Flipper, minding my own business and suddenly flew right into a spawning police helicopter. It was still flashing to solid, but it exploded on impact anyway, taking me with it. According to the game, I committed suicide and had to pay 10K insurrance to boot. I wasn't wrong to say that the npc traffic is the thing I dread most in this game.

The Wandering Hunter
its inability to quickly lose altitude is a real issue though. i imagine that it gets murdered by lasers and hydras easily. We Are Ninja and Nossirag

Not really, it spends too much time chasing its own tail flying away from Missiles while the OpMkII sits in one place laughing and firing them off. please stop me
I'ved learned sticking to the road and not blasting off into the air is the best way to operate the MK2. If you continue straight off the mountain, you'll be going the same speed as you were on the ground. Cutter De Blanc
Tried to dogfight one of these in my Starling but he got away faster than I could keep up, so I let him go, and he came back and ambushed me when I wasn't paying attention. That lock on range is no joke, you hear it lock on and then see the Oppressor on the map. I was like "who the f*ck is targeting me?" I evaded a handful of missiles, but he had the jump on me and hit the cockpit with one, destroying the plane instantly. As a side note, they really need to fix the thing on the radar that shows if your opponent is above or below you, dogfighting these tiny pieces of sh*t is tough enough as it is Up2NoGood45, Nossirag, Yellow Dog with Cone and 4 others
RyuNova
I think the Scramjet is gonna be the OpMkII killer. The abilities of the OpMkII with Deluxo missiles. Bad combination. J-Scott-D, Arrows to Athens and Nossirag
Piro
Yeah its fast on highways but I think its even faster going upward mt. Chiliad. Can we make races with those? I've fought a few MK2 spammers before yesterday, using the minigun and heavy sniper got me a lot of kills, but maybe that's just because I'm using mouse, idk? Smooth Longsack
The thruster can outrun these missiles indefinitely. Just head in a straight line and be missed by the mk2 griefers. Nossirag, Silencer555 and Happy Hunter

Arrows to Athens
A funny kill I got today. At the start of the video, I don't even hit the guy, and his body flung back as if I had used the force on him. lmao Also, this thing loves street lights and poles: Smooth Longsack, Silencer555, Nossirag and 1 other

Against the co-pilot gun it's just a smaller Deluxo that can't turn off flight mode for a quick descent. Definitely. I can keep above them for some time - in that kind of time, even without a mouse the gunner would probably land a shot eventually. Sometimes they try to move further off if they can't gain altitude faster than me - they try to get back so they can lock on. But if the Hunter stays on guard for that, it can pretty much follow them, stay above them for good. Chaff in any moments they're getting close. Doing all that and trying to use barrage rockets on it is much harder obviously lol. Can be done though. Worst I've had so far is a stalemate kind of situation - it'd follow me up to the top of the altitude limit, then I'd pop chaff and get below it, moving down, trying to catch it as it followed. Then chaff, back up, repeat, etc. 43 minutes ago, RyuNova said: Fought a Strikeforce, went down like a bitch. You cant turn fast enough son. Strikeforce is pretty vulnerable to fast missiles when it's low. I'd imagine it wouldn't deal with these well high up either - but especially low down. It goes pretty slowly, too much for even the standard Oppressor missiles most of the time. Nossirag, Silencer555 and autofanatic

Agreed, the Strikeforces speed boost would make it impossible but few people utilise it properly and you would be a fool to chase a plane to high altitude on the OpMkII.
