Ned Bingham Posted July 21, 2018 Share Posted July 21, 2018 This question is about the Login Box, with its question about whether you wish to "Remember Me?" not recommended for public computers. Whilst I appreciate that the majority of forum users login from the same machine every time wouldn't it be better to have the "Remember Me" box unticked? Those who do wish to be remembered can tick it and have their cookie marked so. And even if they forget to do so first or second time, they'll remember to tick the box soon enough and that will be the end of their angst. On the other hand those who never wish to be remembered, like on a public computer, have to untick the box every time and they inevitably forget sometimes and have an undesirable outcome.
