Anybody else can’t access Emblem Creator?

Hey all,

 

As the title suggests, has anybody else got a problem accessing the Emblem Creator? Or if you’ve had before, how’d you fix it?

Only a couple weeks ago I could use it just fine, but now every time I try I land on a page showing John Marston (I believe) shooting some poor sod in the back while on horseback, and a message saying:

I contacted R* support. First they said ”you can only use tools provided by the emblem creator to create emblems”, well yeah I know that. That’s not the issue. Then they said ”try clearing your cache” and I suspected beforehand that’d work, so i did. Didn’t work, still the same message. Then they said ”try using a different browser”. I tried Safari (as opposed to Google Chrome, my standard browser). Didn’t work. I’m going crazy here, especially as it seems I’m the only one experiencing this. Just tried deleting the old crew and made a new one and tried again, same message.

 

Does anybody know what the hell is going on here?

No one? I’m about to give up, tried clearing cache and web browser data, tried different browser etc etc and nothing works. It’s driving me crazy, especially as I had no problems whatsoever making a crew emblem only 1 month ago or so.

If it makes u feel better,I cant access it either.I really don't know what's happening I suspect it is because of the new dlc coming out but I'm not sure

@Igneous Ok, sorry to hear it’s not working for you either, but also relieved because then it might actually be an error on R*’s behalf (even though they won’t admit it when I’ve messaged them). Social Club was down a few weeks ago, and part of me believes that it either had to do with the After Hours DLC or they’re priming it for Red Dead Redemption 2. And maybe something’s gone wrong along the way there...

Yeah and what’s up with the crew logos not sticking?

@JumpingKentFlash Do you mean for example tattoos not remaining on the body? Because I've had that trouble since forever.. I get the tattoo, and then it remains for days/weeks and then all of a sudden it's gone, so I have to re-apply it. Not sure if it's the same for logos on clothes or cars because I never apply my crew logo to either of them.

 

Luckily, it's only $100 to get the crew tattoo back, so it's not about the money - but of course, it'd be nice if it remained when it should.

 

Edit: My emblem creator is working again, since a while back. I have no idea what made it work or what the issue was, but I'm glad to have it working again!

No it’s not tattoos. I put the logo on my Avenger and it’s gone when it goes back in the facility.

@JumpingKentFlash Ok, that's weird. Like I said, I never apply the crew logo for vehicles or clothes, so I'm honestly clueless.. You'd think it'd remain on your Avenger for at least the remainder of the session. But from what I've gathered, crew logos have always been a bit sketchy...
