Emia
Its been a hard work, heh? Unity is a powerful tool to create various of games, it holds with a nice physics, render engine. But times are changing. There are a lot of tools that provide more comfortable environment to perform such things. Im looking forward to create something like this on Godot. No, there are no tools to provide more comfortable environment. Although I prefer FOSS, Godot is nowhere near Unity and as such I am not gonna use it. The last Unity version which supports it is 2018.2, but this version is not compatible with this project.

Some (a lot of, to be honest) people who passed a long way through Unity, found out that prefab system is not so flexible, as it could be. So me too, who have been using Unity for a few projects, confirmed. Unity is a commerce project, focused on multiplatform creation. For some purposes it can be modified for more flexibility (a large companies do this trick), but SDK from website not. But... Its my vision. You found Unity more reliable to you, so I wish a good luck. Btw, Godot (any FOSS engine) render system is more flex and powerful, than in Unity. It can be scaled as much as you need. Can you do this on Unity SDK? Guess not, its a proprietary stuff, no sources to build (except some c# GUI stuff).

Yes, you can extend it as much as you want, you can change any part of the engine. Of course, because it's FOSS. But it lacks a LOT of functionalities, and lot of things you have to do on your own. This not acceptable for most people/companies as they lack enough manpower and time to do it. On the other hand, Unity will give you the source code if you pay the appropriate license. So you can modify anything you want. Although you really don't need to, unless you need some very specific stuff (like some high-end companies do). I saw a post on the discord server for this project that someone will make it to work for a PS Vita port. This is what i saw after i made that comment here.
