He's a nickel and dime actor, which is why I firmly believe he doesn't know sh*t about the mystery. But, goobers keep paying attention to what he says on social networking etc. because "oooohh, he might help us solve the mystery". He keeps it alive (trolls) because it is one of the few things keeping him "famous". His career is the only thing that is 78 feet down in the water or whatever stupid thing he said.

That first girl looks like Aunt Denise. I mean, as much as the protagonists look like their counterparts. Resemblance. That would be funny if they both had the same agent.

Speaking of commercials with protagonists from GTA V; has anyone seen that Shield commercial for the Marvel mobile game whatever it is playing on Youtube in their ads yet? "Uh, I gotta go, I GOTTA GO!" Sounds exactly like Stephen Ogg.

It must be depressing knowing that, as an actor, you make one video game and all of your roles after the game will be comparing the character you play in that role to the one in the game you played.

The only one that did well after GTA V was Steven Ogg because of... Trevor

Why did I do that ad? I guess it was Diabetes

In the acting world, that's called being typecast. Studios see you play one part really well, so then that role becomes all you ever get hired for, if you choose, and you get stuck in a loop.  Ned Luke has a movie that came out last year, "American Gothic" - seems like it will be a good movie.

Also what I love about Ned Luke's IMDB page, is that the offical actor's profile photo is a photo of Michael De Santa.  lmao

Ned Luke is kind of a part time actor. Besides GTA V and occasional guest roles here and there, he is rarely in anything by his choice. He didn't go down the sh*tter or something. Steven Ogg has pursued his career, although he's been unfortunately typecast into many of the same roles since Trevor. Seriously, the guy would be great in the lead of a Western in a serious role if he wasn't stuck to the "Trevor" persona.

As for Shawn, he isn't significant as an actor or a character. I mean, Franklin really is not that impressive.

PS: It's not insulin though according to the commercial! ;)

I love that Ned Luke did an anti-gun campaign video.  acts as a gun store owner and when someone asks about a piece, he reels off details about how it is the same type of weapon that was used in a murder, school shooting etc etc.  I'm not expecting him to be a flag-waving NRA gun nut but at the same time...talk about juxtaposition.

Hmmm nice bike

You forget 1000 things every day, but make sure taking your insulin isn't one of them! Talk to your doctor about Trulicity today.

I remember when there were people on here who actually got legitimately mad at him for doing that commercial. I guess to some it's easy to forget that he's an actor, not someone who runs around using guns and shooting people in real life.

Ned Luke is far from a nickel and dime actor.  He's had a career you would die for.  If you follow his social media, you would understand that he has semi retired from acting and is 90% focused on baseball.  He will take the occasional job, I would assume, to pay the bills.  Sounds to me like you must have wasted hours of your life chasing his trolling answer to the Chiliad mystery, and are angry you got punked.   I actually enjoyed that he trolled us fans.  He stays engaged and is a genuinely good and fun person.  They all are.  I met them all at FanExpo and I can tell you they are wonderful people.  They were gracious and spent an unexpected amount of time with us even without us paying for autographs or pictures.  Ned and Shawn even took pics with my son free of charge which made the entire experience for him.

Sometimes I wonder why I periodically check in on this site hoping to find new interesting info, only to see this kind of rubbish.

Agree 100%  Ned Luke is a father first, actor second.  He didn't know GTA V would blow up like it did, nobody did. Ned Luke was a nobody to the film industry before this game came out, just a small part actor. He assumed GTA V would be another small part acting gig and that would be it. 800 million bucks were earned within 24 hours of the game's street date. That's more than DOUBLE what Game Of Thrones made in the box office that entire year. This game hit hard and fast and still is leaving a large impact in the gaming world. Compared to GTA IV, I mean look where Michael Hollick is now, he's pretty much a ghost. Granted the GTA IV storyline had deep Soviet storyline and European conflict that not everyone understood, I personally loved it to death.

Ned Luke enjoys his fans and having a good time with family & friends, taking an acting gig is just something he does when he needs extra income or something but he isn't making a lifetime career from it. He's one of those special actors like Paul Walker that is very humbled and respectable, and not some trashy douchebag like a lot of celebs. He also likes to play the game himself, as himself, with his dogs, I mean how many actors do that? You can tell when Ned does short Twitter vids with Shaun that they are so much like father and son together. It's almost like the game is a full documentary on their life and not even a fantasy. lol

Both Ned Luke and Steven Ogg seem like wonderful people, so I'm not about to begrudge them what roles they take. How much did V really pigeonhole them, though? It sold like hotcakes, yeah, but that was years ago and single-player's long been overtaken by online. How many people in the TV and movie industry are also gamers? Most viewers who would pay attention to an insulin commercial aren't going to know who Michael is. Luke seems fairly low-key to begin with, so I'm not sure it's made that much of a difference for him. Ogg I think it really did put on the map, but if he's typecast, I don't think it's because of Trevor, I think it's because of his looks. Execs will see a character actor who plays weirdos, not a leading man. Which is unfair, because I think he's quite a bit more versatile than that.

If you follow their social media accounts, you can easily decipher that Ogg went after his career to capitalize on Trevor.  And that is pretty much the only character he has played since.  Nearly every post he makes is self promotional, whereas, Luke, did not chase the dream, so to speak.  Nearly every post he makes is family oriented.  He chose to be there for his young son, who appears to be a great kid and an aspiring baseball player.  I think Luke made the right choice.  At FanExpo he was asked about what was upcoming, and he said something like "I have a big baseball tournament coming up."  Got a good laugh.  He also mentioned that once his son is off to college he will likely try to get back into the business full time.  Some would call it an opportunity missed, others would call it being a great parent.  Either way, both are tremendous actors.  I wish them great luck.
