What Happened if I ignore the Suggested Video Limit?

I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 750ti, everything se to max except "Texture Quality". If i ignore the thing and set to max, does it make the game lag, shutter or anything? I just want to play in SP, i'm offically done with Online
