exterior vending machine model names

Can somebody please tell me what are the name of the vending machines that are located in the streets because i want to replace the models with perk-a-cola machines from call of duty zombies

Another GTA Fan

Sprunk vending machine: 'CJ_EXT_SPRUNK' Model ID: '955'

Food vending machine: 'CJ_EXT_CANDY' Model ID: '956'

 

There is also a soda vending machine that I don't believe is seen anywhere in the game, but it still works the same as the Sprunk vending machine: 'vendmach' Model ID: '1209'

i replaced the models but my game frezzes or crashes

replace it with another dff, which is shure that it works,

i just have a question do i have to make a .col file even when i have replaced a map object

There's an unusual pop machine located at the Juniper gas station with the PnS. Perhaps this is a match.

 

Another unusual vending machine is located in the unused Ammu-nation. IIRC, it doesn't have proper collision.

Sorry, probably should have quoted a little more. Recommended mentioned what I think is the pop machine that isn't sprunk but didn't know if it was used in game. It can be found at the gas station below the Juniper Pay'n'Spray. I'm not sure if it matters if all you want to mess with are the Sprunk machines.

And I believe you do need to make a collision for the object, though it doesn't need to have any mesh or collision spheres, etc, it just needs a collision file, even if it technically has no collision. Objects usually share a collision file with other objects. For example there is a dynamic collision file for a load of dynamic objects in the game. You could add the collision to your new object within an existing .col file, such as dynamic.col.

 

Also, the editing feature on this forums is really broken. The above text should be at the bottom, but I can't type anything after the emoji.

changing col model isn't rquired

A model have 3 files: dff, txd, col

Now take any model, name it CJ_EXT_SPRUNK.dff and put it into a modloader subfolder

Game works then, it will be buggy because col and texture doesn't fit together, but game doesn't crash

If game crashs though, then dff is invalid

 

Or maybe you did something else wrong, did you ever changed a model successfully by modloader? a car for example?

My comment about missing collision was associated with the odd-ball vending machines. Most players are familiar with the Sprunk and snack machines, but normal games also have the rarely used Cola (?) machine at the Juniper gas station. A 4th vending machine, another snack machine, iirc, can be found in the unused two-story Ammu-nation interior. Since the Ammu-nation is unused I would consider this object as unused as well. These comments were intended to document all working vending machines that I am aware of. I can't think of anything else off hand but it's been a very long time since I experimented with IPL.

 

My comment about missing collision was purely observational. I remember CJ standing a little inside the object when buying food. I have no experience with modifying models, textures and collisions so I won't comment on why the object didn't appear to have collision as used.

The player actor hitbox doesn't change with animations, though? So when you sit or lie down or perform any animation similar to that, the hitbox won't change, to my knowlegde. That's why some make CJ go through even objects with collision. That's my guess. The sit down animation is a good example. You can clip right into a wall with that one.

yeah your right but i want  to know why my GTA  frezzes or crashes while  aproaching to the vending machines

1 / errors in textures, txd
2 / errors in 3d dff models
3 / errors in the settings of data files
check the size of images over one megabyte is the worst and the game must load it in seconds
Ask an experienced person to send a message to someone who makes such models
settings must be 100% accurate
