6fangedcutthroatTV Posted June 28, 2018 Share Posted June 28, 2018 I think they just moved away from it because the utility of eating for health is moot now with 50% health regen and since you could rob stores + buy "novelty" snacks for some quick health there, there was no need for them and resources could be spent elsewhere. I don't think there were more interiors in IV, I think it's just that they were different ones. IV didn't have convenience stores peppered around, V doesn't have Burger Shot, but it has those convenience stores, and you can rob them and have shootouts in there. Typically, the caught on video crimes are in convenience stores, whereas, in fast food joints it's just literally trash fighting over the counter with other literaly trash in literal trash neighborhoods. Also, it makes little sense to highlight Fast Food joints the way they do in NYC-based Liberty, because in California, those are considered hard to get jobs and they pay well and don't hire dropouts and kids out here much for fast food, they hire adults who take their job seriously. It's just a higher standard of employment for those places than the east coast. My wife was shocked and disturbed by all the kids and ghetto people working in fast food on the east coast first time we went there together/her first time. Algonquin Assassin Posted June 29, 2018 Share Posted June 29, 2018 The thing that disappoints me the most about the interiors in GTA V is the lack of them for the properties we can buy since most of them are nightclubs/bars. I never truly feel like I have anything do with the business when I can't even go inside. The Cluck N Bell obviously didn't close though, it's still there and people outside of it. But can't go in it. I don't think it's feasible to buy $150M+ worth of property after beating the game and with $25M+ on hand after. Forget all that Online stuff. I don't think eating food for health is moot. It's necessary. Just like in other games, you walk or drive over health icons to restore health. But not every chance you had for them because of missions or being chased by cops. You could also repair your vehicle or lose wanted levels by driving into an auto/paint shop.You had hot dog stands in GTA 4 to replenish health. How easy was that. In 5, you can easily buy food at a convenience store as well. Robbing them was another story, although fun, to be basically against a 3 star army of city police or sheriffs and SWAT. I think besides gradually restoring health or buying armor, that was a way to restore health. I was surprised there wasn't any food trucks.
