I think I should add the FP H sindacco argento as well, but it needs more testing on no PSP platforms

No offence, but you're asking for impossible, man. He always was and will be like this. He will never stop. Even when you get used with this

Oh well actually I am playing on PS2, and while I haven't tested the combination on phone yet it definately does work on PS2. I'm dealing with some emulation issues, but despite that I still made it all the way past Karmageddon twice with 10 H vehicles and the AP Hunter ;) and soon I will try this again on a real PS2. Just need to hunt down a new controller first.

That is sad about the RC bandits on PSP. So what happens if you try to carjack it then? Do you just teleport the carjacker out of the vehicle? I mean, just because there is no door animation, does that mean there is no carjack animation?

 

Is there a way to emulate the phone version? I feel like maybe I should refine the combined method for other versions. And what did you mean by entering the light on foot? If your marking a vehicle you should enter the light in the vehicle, backwards with the passenger door blocked, but you know that. And one good reason marking is good for H conversion is unless you park it too close to the casino it won't disappear, that is why I mentioned placing the vehicle on the sidewalk, on the same block as the hospital positioned vertical to the casino, and not too close to the corner of the block. Safe storage for H converted vehicles that are unmarked should instead use the garage method, I described both in the post. Remember to stay near the garage as the vehicle doesn't save until you open and close the garage door after the mission ends, but it will be safe from mission-related clear area commands in there and ergo it's a good place to store it in the memory for a minute. I walk a block from my garage entrance until I can see the Sindacco Argentino, which at that final stage is an armed truck bomb. Then I shoot it with a bazooka from 2 blocks away and then open and close the garage.

So marking on ps2 with interrupted animation works. Btw, you say that you have a real ps2. Do you mind running some tests for me, so I can have a vehicle up-to-date?

Game crashes. Same even if a thief tries to steal it, a cop tryin to bust you or a hostile gang member to pull you out. You can edit a file in order to make a functional animation, but I prefer the legit way

I always park them in that alley which leads to ammunation(Although since they are marked, I don't have to worry about this) before conversion, and after, I put them in the garage. What sort of tests do you have in mind? I can do some stuff on the emulator but like I said before I still need to buy a new controller before I can get the PS2 running, atm most of what I do is through software emulation with ps2_netemu on the PS3. That's too bad about the Bandits and repeatable H conversion, maybe I can find an alternative method with the nox emulator you mentioned. Have you tried marking one vehicle while H converting another? If that works then it would require an extra mission attempt to do this, same as with the bike method but it would still cut down on mission attempts. Perhaps the issue is in H converting a marked vehicle, so in this way H conversion would take place before the marking and still give better stats ;) oh and what you said about peds being unmarked explains A LOT! It's one of the main reasons you have to stay close to the casino, specifically when the truck bomb and Patriot waves are out. Any other time you can go out and about without harm, but sometimes if your too far away the Patriot or Truck driver disappears and the mission passes with the truck bomb, or in the case of the Patriot I get the truck bomb on the first round and ruin everything. Traffic spawning where mission vehicles spawn is the other reason to stay near the casino.

I needed it on real PS2, cause on emulator, it works

I meant if you mark a different vehicle, if you try to H convert a vehicle that is not marked and then mark it later. By staggering things in this way marking can occur after the vehicle is made H, adding an extra mission attempt but still less attempts than usual. Much like the bike method. So you would never mark the same vehicle as you H convert in the same mission.

 

And if that doesn't work, perhaps we are looking at it the wrong way. Is there anything in the code for the PSP version that suggests why it might fail? And if it does fail maybe that is a good thing, if we can figure out how to keep the vehicle it would be faster. If I had to guess, maybe the marked vehicle can't be near the casino for some reason due to the marking so performing H conversion before marking might be key. I assume this because the area by the casino is usually cleared when you enter the marker. But maybe it doesn't matter if it works on PSP, since we can mark cars using the garage instead.

 

I suppose my PS3 can emulate PSP so I'll try a few things and see what happens. Suppose I'll need to beat half of Portland again first though lol. Nah, no point really, might as well mark vehicles with the garage for PSP.

Mission fails when you enter the marker, during the cutscene, so, no way to move the vehicle away. The yankee explodes by itself, this failing the mission

Yeah so the garage will be necessary for marking on PSP then, I'll update the guide later. First, while I hunt for a new PS2 controller I want to test this on the phone version, then I will release 3 strategies for the 3 consoles. The PS2 method I will test on a real PS2 when I get a new controller, and for the PSP simple repeatable H conversion and garage marking will do. I expect the PS2 method to work on phone without adjustment, but I can't test it myself except through emulation. I'll try that for now, but I need someone to test the method on a real phone.

 

Hey can you tell me what happens if you use the first Sindacco Vehicle as a bomb truck on the PSP version? That part of my strategy is worth keeping on PSP as it makes things much easier, if it works as intended.

I am not so sure what you're Talking about, but since we talk about marking, indeed psp has the garage glitch, which is much better and faster, although, the marked vehicle can get unmarked when doing certain actions, like converting it to H(although, putting it back in a garage brings marked property back). Maybe you can mark with door and make the same vehicle H in one go, but the exploding casino might destroy your vehicle(unless it's EP), so keep this in mind as well

Blow it up near the casino to fail avs and convert another vehicle to H? This is how I am doing this conversion
