This is very specific but i'm getting mixed answers from googling it. I want to read my old deleted fb messages+conversations, not archived ones, actual deleted ones. Will the download your data feature on fb give these to me, it's sort of important so any replies would be appreciated.

Windows task manager shows high CPU usage (>50%) upon launching and immediately reduces to 0-2%. It also tells that I use 25% (4 GB) of memory when idling.

Is it normal?

No, I could be wrong.  You could check the email account associated with Facebook.  Most email service providers let you recover deleted emails.  Check email FAQ.   If you do not get a copy/receipt of FB messages via email don't bother checking.  You will find nothing.

Yes.

Have you fussed with the audio settings with the TV?  You know... make sure all the settings match your equipment.  Ie; If you don't have a 5.1 sound system attached to your TV make sure the TV doesn't think so...stuff like that.  If the audio channels don't line up sound can be distributed in odd ways.

It's a racket.  :) I invested in a soundbar with a set of surround speakers and a sub woofer to deal with TV sound.

But still...even with supplemental audio equipment I can still be watching a movie where it seems like dialog is quiet and action sequences are crazy loud.

I've never messed with the sound settings, tbh. It's been like this ever since I bought this TV.

Did you father ever really like that particular style of sofa or was it thrust upon him by the people who are usually in charge of giving a damn about how a sofa looks, rather than it being comfortable and a good fit for his size?

I mean, it was the 1980s & he wanted a sofa set for him & his family (Me, my brother & my mother)

+ i remember it being comfortable back in the day

Iirc, it was His Money: so he could do what he wanted with it, so to answer Your question: No, nobody forced him to buy it. He bought it & it was comfy too. Win-win for both him & me.

I have it on good authority that AL's dad lives on a 90s pоrn set.

I mean, i wouldn't be suprised at That statement. He was always a gentleman & a playboy...

I remember this one time Me & him were pulled over by a Lady cop & she only wanted his phone number.

Brings a whole new meaning to the term: ''F**K the police''

I miss my dad tho, he was a good guy & a Better parent compaired to my mother

Sorry to hear you've lost your dad.  I guess I was making the assumption that it was his wife who picked the furniture (How many men actually like being dragged around furnishing warehouses in the holiday season?).  Looking at that sofa again, I'd not pass on it myself.  It has a good, deep reach, and so would be comfortable for me.  Is it actually hairy like it looks in the photo, or is that just a printed-on effect?  I'd definitely pass on a hairy sofa.  Hairy might be warm and cosy but would get dirty real quick.

It's not too hairy & very fairly easy to clean, there's a name for the material, i just can't remember it.

Anyways, i'm just looking for more info on that style of sofa & chair set. If you find any info on it, tag me again OR Message me.

Thanks in advance

I may be talking out of my arse, but I think it's because people have learned about GDPR and feel like exercising their right to privacy. They haven't researched it thoroughly, they've just looked up what the acronym means and how it might affect them. They register an account on a forum they barely had any intention of visiting just so they could browse a few posts about horses in RDR2 before slamming their genitals on the table and demanding that their account be deleted. They are well within their right to do so, mind you - I'm not saying it's a bad practice, but it does make me wonder why for account holders like this. Your digital footprint is an important thing to cultivate, but I doubt you'll have headhunters looking you up in ten years, seeing you have shared a particularly spicy take on whatever GTA Online DLC rubbed you the wrong way and then proceed to reject you for a job interview. It's hard not to be cynical when I don't care who they are when they request for deletion, let alone what they think they're running from. To each their own, though. I personally think they've just changed their minds about wanting an account and rather just leaving it to rot like I did with my Serebii forums account, they make a big song and dance about not coming back.

In a nutshell, GDPR stands for "general data protection regulation". This measure was put in place in 2018 to essentially give users of the internet more control over their personal data. This includes things like subscription emails, cookies, accounts on forums like this and other facets of online life that may reveal personal information. As well as personal browsing at home, places of work also have to comply with regulations now in regards to how they store and collect data. If you're curious, this article does a decent job of explaining the basics without getting too heavy.

Okay, I have this life-long fear, but the problem is I have no idea what the phobia is called, and it's always been hard for me to define exactly what it is. I can show things that trigger it, but that's generally all I can do. I'm hoping someone here that has phobia knowledge might know what it's called, if it even has a name.

So What would it Look like with all the planets between the earth and the moon?  is one thing that severely triggers my phobia. I honestly have a very hard time watching that video. Watching it in full screen is a definite no for me.

The Salt Flats image  is also another thing that seriously triggers my phobia.

There's also the Nebula effect that was added to Fortnite Creative mode that also triggers it, infact that was the reason why I'm asking here as I recently just discovered it in the game, and I nearly gave myself an anxiety attack over it.

Does this phobia have a name, and what is it called?

As someone who actually had their account deleted, I feel I can weigh in on this. I definitely impulsively went through with it for the most part. I don't fully understand the whole GDPR thing, I just knew I was eligible for it and at the time I think I really needed to get away and it was hard for me to do so. I think I had different reasons than most however, it wasn't really about the privacy for me. I needed those two months to disconnect from the internet. I think everyone should do it at some point, although deleting your account I wouldn't recommend. If you're an established member you'll probably miss it. I will agree with not understanding why newer members seem to want it more, they don't realy have a posting history or anything anyways, it's likely easier to just go. Although, I fully understand why someone wouldn't want an account they won't use, I've felt the same about some sites that didn't give you the option to remove your account and I had no interest in.

I think it's called Kenophobia, which is the fear of the void/empty spaces: https://www.fearof.net/fear-of-voids-or-empty-spaces-phobia-kenophobia/. I can somewhat relate to that, though, in my case, it's mostly with videogame void.

I've got an interesting question to ask you all:

How many of you can produce images in your head? For example, if I asked you to picture an apple in your mind could you do it?

I've recently discovered that I'm in the minority that can't conjure up any images at all, which is apparently called Aphantasia, I don't have a mind's eye.
