How do you keep a conversation going without constantly asking questions? I find this happens to me quite often, I realize im doing it so I go quiet but so does the other person. Seems like I'm the only one putting in any effort, so annoying.

As long as either of you aren't looking down at your phone... I'd say your doing well in the art of conversation in today's world.

 

Conversations are organic.  Questions, antidotes(anecdotes), gesticulations, eye language...

 

 

 

 

If it helps;  I think I'm guilty of the questions thing too.

Yeah, I can't stand people that just stare at their phone all day in public, like go home and do that. It's really tough these days to naturally meet people.

I feel for you guys/gals in that department.  But...i think your kids will show the world something of a renaissance.  A generation who knows how to be themselves and properly use the power of the internet.

 

I know people like yourself and (most) others can survive in nice nooks...but from outside looking in its easy to be concerned.

The other languages had basically no activity, so to reduce clutter the only two semi-active ones where put into threads in gta series.

What is the name of those lighters that use a snapper? (They're apparently not called snappers because upon Googling, Fish appear as the result).

 

I'm talking about the lighters that you press; They make that 'snapping' sound to ignite the fuel. Mine seems to be broken, and I'll need to replace it, but I can't find the name of what it's called, so all my results don't show them.

Bic Lighters? Or just simple flick lights

 

You could also look at getting a rechargeable plasma lighter

That's what I thought but you don't "push" anything that "snaps" on a zippo.

 

Having quit smoking I totally miss my Zippo. 

 

All I could think of are the magneto lighters and any of those cheap ass butane refillable electric lighters.

Piezo ignition? These are rarely replaceable, unless you cannibalize another lighter.

That's the one. I guess I should have clarified a little on what I meant as I was referring to the way the lighter ignites rather than the type of lighter. But yeah, Piezo is the one I was looking for. It's a shame getting replacements for these is uncommon, though replacing it with one from another lighter is easily do-able. Mine has a really nice design on it, plus it's transparent which makes it easier to tell if it's refilling right; A problem I have with opaque lighters.

 

@tripI totally hear you on the Zippo lighters. They are my personal favorite. I see the Zippo lighter as being the equivalent of a revolver firearm: Not just about shooting, but also the enjoyment of reloading. Also, you don't need to smoke in order to own one. They can have many great uses, maybe even useful for survival purposes infact. I say treat yourself to one. You'll never know when it'll come in handy.

I smoked for 30 years(my wife still smokes)... Here are my Zippos.  Plus I live in their home state so we also get to be Zippo proud here in PA.

Looks like you mean a piezo lighter, a gas lighter using a special crystal for piezo electric effect
