Is it possible to swap the HDD from the large USB's with a PC's HDD? Given how it worked with my PS3 (Flash 12GB only, used a 1TB PC HDD and it worked wonders, still functioning properly for 2+ years), it might be possible with gigantic USB's - they're basically external HDDs.

..is this piss even considered an energy drink? I found out that it's not energizing and barely contains any caffeine. It tastes absolutely disgusting. It's like liquid sugar.

I was quite shocked with how bad it tastes.

That depends on if you are talking about an actual external HDD or a USB drive as mechanical storage and flash storage are not interchangeable in the way you think.

It's not technically an energy drink, though there are energy drink formulations with Mountain Dew in them here in the US. I tried the fruit punch Mt. Dew energy drink once and it was pretty nasty. The fruit punch didn't really taste "fruity," and it had a bitter aftertaste. Not only that, it cost me $5US + tax because casino prices so I felt like I had to drink it all. Mountain Dew itself is good in my opinion, but I've noticed it goes flat very quickly (moreso than other sodas I believe). You haven't experienced hell until you've had to drink a warm and flat Mt. Dew with melted ice in it that has sat out in your car for half of the day.

Yep, its a USB drive. Please tell me that it is possible - I can swap the broken USB's HDD with that of my PS3's so I can transfer everything important from my laptop to my PC, all the sh*tty USB's I have are 3GB max, that ain't sh*t compared to the Heckload of Skyrim mods.

 

On the subject of PC, is there's any trusted website that allows you to download Windows 7? f*ck Win10. Dumbass guy who sold me the PC refused to switch to Win7 and I'm stuck with 10.

Did the PC originally have Win7 installed? I was able to reverse my used Win10 laptop to Win7 by resetting it to factory settings.

I assume that's the case with your PC too, since he refused to switch it?

game/dlc storage is nowhere near as intensive as an O/S, admittedly I've ran a lightweight linux system solely for media streaming off a 4gb usb stick on a machine with no hdd but that was barely intensive and i doubt it'd even work for windows.

 

on the subject of windows 7 you used to be able to grab isos for free from microsoft but they stopped that service, luckily theres some mirrors like http://windowsiso.net/- note you need to use a torrent client but if you're not into that just copy the iso name into google and get a link from there. you can then buy a cd key for a few bux on ebay or [no warez discussion thanks]

A USB thumb drive uses flash storage that looks something like this: https://rdist.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/cruzerent1.jpg You can't use this in your PC.

 

A portable USB drive uses a mechanical 3.5" or 2.5" disc (at least the vast majority of them) that connects to the PC via the USB interface on the plastic shroud of the drive. The actual disc will have a SATA interface that you can use to install the drive in your PC or possibly PS. https://www.google.se/search?q=inside+portable+hdd

 

So yes, depending on which type of "USB drive" you are talking about.

So I don't really have a better place to ask this about, but ever since I picked GTA IV back up from the scrappy heap, I've noticed that the "Network" part of the stats menu, where you find all the online records and sh*t, is no longer there.

 

Anyone know if Rockstar quietly did away with it at some point, or if it's just a glitch causing it to not appear? My console's connected to the internet and all that, so nothing wrong on that front.
