Anyone in here good with phones? Mine(Sony xperia z5 compact) doesn't work at all, no lights, doesn't respond to button iput, doesn't charge, BUT it plays Steely Dan every now and then, like, 10 seconds at a time with inconsistent periods of time passing between each fragment of audio.

 

Does it have any life when plugged into a computer? Does Windows see it?

I didn't get as far. It just did a red notification light a few times and booted. That was weird.

Any ideas what the hell is wrong with my finger? It's been like this for a long while in a small spot on my left index finger:

• skin is very calloused
• skin seems extremely dry
• skin has "cracks"
• some swelling
• some minor spots are very smooth and shiny
• skin is discolored
• skin is very tender and sensitive, stings/tingles a bit when touched

It's not as pronounced in pictures. It looks like a bad bruise IRL. I'll probably speak to my GP about it but I figured I'd ask here first, maybe save my money.

e: juist noticed it wasa bit swollen too

Could be anything, my guess is it's an infection of some kind. Have you been bitten by anything? I'm hazarding a guess at no, because there doesn't seem to be any build up or bite indication. You're always best off seeing your GP because without physically grabbing your hand I can't tell what it is specifically.

What makes you think it's an infection? (It's unlikely I've been bitten by anything, I barely leave the house without gloves since it's usually about -5 degrees at the warmest point of the day)

It might be an allergic reaction to something, and yes it can only happen in one spot, already happened to me. It can just be dry skin, do you use hydrant lotion on your hands?

 

Finally, it might be a wart. Pay attention to see if there's any small skin buildup on the area. A few years ago I got two warts in two of my fingers, and in the early stages looked like tiny clear bumps. If so, as long as it doesn't bleed and you avoid touching or scratching the area, waiting and seeing is the best option in any of the situations I pointed out.

Just because its localised. It could be an allergic reaction, but it's less common to occur in one area as concise as that. It's hard to determine because we don't know what you've touched, where you've been, how long it's been there, what it feels like and what your previous medical history is.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from the last picture it seems to stop at a line halfway between your knuckles. I think if I remember correctly you play guitar, do you use a slide that you've not used for some time, or have one that's maybe gone a little rusty or oxidized, cause it looks a little like a very light reaction to zinc (not a hard reaction... and for f*cks sake careful when looking up zinc reactions on el goog... did. not. want. to. see. that. image)

 

Or have you had your finger in something that you shouldn't have?... <insert in-law joke here>

Because an actual suppressor works nothing like fiction. It doesn't have that ''click'' stealth effect we see in games/movies/TV etc its moderately quieter but most importantly it hides muzzle flash.

Does it itch? I get something similar about once every month or two - they show up as real small spots on my fingers and hands and they break out into a rash. Sometimes they feel prickly, not painful prickly, but like having insulation rub against your skin. I think the doctor told me a while back it's Psoriasis Rosacea, and there isn't really anything you can do, but I'm not a doctor, so don't take my word on it.

Tell him how you feel. He might reject you, and it might be awkward for the next few months until school gets out, but odds are you'll go your separate ways and never see each other again. Then again, he might be interested and you guys might click. You'll never know until you ask.

 

Just speaking as a guy, I'd be flattered if a girl asked me out - even if I wasn't interested. And I'd probably say yes regardless of my feelings...what do I have to lose? Wouldn't want to miss out on something that could end up being great
