It has been ages since I watched Darker Than Black so I don't remember much about the characters and their abilities. Though, I will try to answer your question.

 

I am pretty sure that lady's ability modified the raindrop to become as heavy as a bombshell or made it possess high momentum. I can't really explain the physics behind on how that happens because it can't unless we take an extremely high dense liquid; which again is humanly impossible under NTP. But this the anime, so that statement is naturally redundant.

 

But to explain the consequence of that, the man died due to an extremely huge "impulsive force" created by the raindrop. Add the fact that he was accelerating himself, he experienced a ridiculous amount of force which killed him.

 

You can even see for a moment how those raindrops affected his body. They literally made holes in him like bullets.

 

Anyways, this is pretty dumb of you and even me to think about the physics of a "fantasy" anime. So just chill and enjoy,

Is there's any possible way that allows you to disable PC shortcuts? Like for instance, Ctrl+Shift+W shut down the Browser, etc. Tired of accidentally hold Shift instead of Ctrl when I want to open a new tab (Ctrl+N) only to end up opening a new Chrome Window (Shift+N)

 

 

Also, for some reason when I hold Right Shift and click O (to, y'know, type a Capital O) it doesn't work. I hold Shift and press "O", nothing happens. L-Shift works. Same thing happens when I try to type ">" but its the other way around (R Shift+. = ">" but L Shift+. doesn't do anything). Any idea why this happens? I simply want to know.

Did any of you had any experience with Swatch wrist watches? I was never a watch guy until I realized quite recently the reason I felt never to have enough time to finish my college exams was the fact I simply had no notion of the time. I always think "why using a watch when I can have that info right from my smartphone" but, of course, I really can't pull that out in the middle of the exams. I have a 90s Sector No Limits watch that was given to me long ago and got it's battery replaced and it's good to go, but it has been already used quite a lot by the person who gave it to me and being made of metal it's quite scratched and such, so I considered buying a second one in better condition.

 

Long story short, I really have a low budget for this, but I want something with quality and that will live for a decent ammount of time, and Swatch seems to offer exacly what I'm seeking for. I have an eye on these 2 used watches, one being an Irony Secret Agent and the other an Irony Get Fly Back. Both are in great condition, and while I'm still negotiating the price of the first one with the seller, it should be not that different from the second. Any thoughts?

 

 

 

I don't particularly need a chronograph but I enjoy it's ashthetic presence on the timepiece. I also really appreciated both of these models for their apparent build quality and classic design not really dependent of any trends and that fit better on a variety of outfits (consider this from a dude that usually dresses very casual dark clothes but sometimes really has to get sharp dressed).

Right, so. I'm considering to upgrade my pc, but i'm not sure if i should get a new cpu or gpu. I currently have a 4690k, and a 970. My cpu's temperature sensor is kinda broken, sometimes it's showing absurd temps when i'm booting, but apart from that it's fine. Pc runs pretty much 24/7 anyways though, so it barely bothers me. Would there be any notable performance increase if i would get a 4790k? It's fairly "old" already, but intel's current cpus would require a new mainboard and dd4 ram, so that'd be too expensive for me. My 970 runs pefectly fine, but a 1070 would be much, much better. So, new cpu or gpu?

It might be worth removing the heatsink, wiping with isopropyl alcohol, reapplying thermal paste and putting the cooler back to see if that helps.

 

It's not the more relevant solution, but it's a cheap solution and if it works it's worth it.

@Dr.John Not really dumb because that has nothing to do with the physics of the anime. I actually got a reply from other peoples on YT and they said since the guy was running at a very fast speed so that's the reason the raindrops pierced him. Just like you said.

 

@ten-a-penny Even I thought that the girl made the raindrops into shards but boy was I wrong. The other guys cleared that for me.

Depends on what you use the PC for. For gaming, definitely get a new GPU instead of a new CPU. If you have a Z97 motherboard and the cooling for it you can overclock the CPU and get 20-25% extra performance for free. Edited December 25, 2016 by Andreaz1

There is little point upgrading that CPU unless you go for something modern, which as you've indicated, would in fact require a new motherboard and new RAM. There are some games for which going from 4690k to 4790k would be an improvement, but most PC games are going to be GPU-bound on 4690k already.

 

An upgrade from 970 to 1070, on the other hand, is going to make a drastic difference, as 1070 generally outperforms a 980. Unless you are doing a lot of CGI rendering or audio/video encoding on your PC, go with a GPU upgrade. And if you are doing these things, then you really want to upgrade the entire CPU/Mobo/RAM package instead.

I would say yes, and finicky behavior is generally a sign something is begining to die, and on many, if not most, laptops it's nearly cheaper, definitely a better bargain, to replace rather than repair.

Well it depends, is it doing it when the laptop is moving? Like for example is it on a soft surface like your lap, sheets, pillow, sofa etc, even if it's just by a small amount from typing. If so it could just indicate that it's a slightly loose connection with the ribbon between the screen and the main unit; which could be a relatively simple fix, as it could just be a case of resetting it (just make sure the connector is sitting right.)

 

If it's just randomly doing it when it's not moving, then it could still be a hardware issue, and would more than likely be a loose connection or connection that is damaged and is "shorting" occasionally, therefore not getting the right connection.

 

It seems unlikely to be a software issue, but it's worth checking that everything is up to date.

 

But also getting back to the hardware side, it is also worth checking that the laptop is physically clean of dust etc. If you can pick up an air duster, you can sometimes pick them up at Tesco or Asda, it will just be an aerosol can with a little straw to stick on the nozzle. Then just give it spray into the various vents you can find (whilst turned off, obviously), keeping upright as turning it upside down will spray cold liquid, also stick a snipped off cotton bud in fans to stop them spinning when cleaning to prevent them building up an electrical charge.
