If i'm on gtaforums right now and switch to a different tab will i be offline?

 

The "online users" list for Invision Power Board uses a system in which it displays users in order of their last refresh. If you look at members near the top of the list, you'll see that they were active within the last minute or so. And as you work your way towards the bottom, you'll see intervals going to around 15 minutes since their last recorded activity. After that point, users are removed from the list altogether. Now if you were to sign out right now, your name would still appear on the list and go through its natural cycle of slowly reaching the bottom until it disappears, except your profile will say "Offline" instead of "Online".

 

If you're signed in as anonymous, this system still applies - except staff members will still be able to see you, with an * after your name, indicating that you're signed in as anonymous. At least that's how it is by default on IPB 3.0. Certain forums may use modified systems, but I believe they're all roughly the same for this version of IPB.

Hey...I was a true Latchkey kid. Neat.

 

 

But still Generation Z does sound cool. (Without doing the research) I believe the term Gen X wasn't coined until sometime in the 80's(possibly even 90's). This whole generation naming didn't start until Baby Boomers(as far as I know) so it isn't like there was forethought for how to name generations.

 

If it went from the first experimental name to X, Y, and now Z...what is the next generation going to be? Not like there is a letter after Z.

I thought Millennials were until 1997, considering that on Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X, there's a guy on the millennial tribe that was born in 1997.

 

Although, I'm still happy. I was born in '97, and I'm glad that I'm not officially classified as a millennial. Generation Z definitely sounds cooler.

Having a bit of trouble with a friend and I don't know how to handle the situation. We probably used to be near best friends at a time, always talked and sh*t.

 

Recently though, he got into conspiracy theories. I could deal with that at first - but then it branched off into anti-semitism and racism and white supremacy... and everything has gone downhill.

 

We haven't talked in a few weeks for no reason and it's getting to me. I've tried to get in contact and he won't pick up - and after scrolling through his Twitter I'm not even sure if I want to stay friends. What do I do? I really need some guidance here.

Why we need education? I'm curious about it.

 

It acts as a brain transplant of sorts, to those who never inherited a brain from their parents. It rescues imbeciles from their own inherited stupidity, who would otherwise perish if left up to nature.

It has a few other motives, as far as I can tell. Another motive is to coral and to keep busy the kids of the slave classes so that they, the parents, can fund high class weapon industry. It acts as a nursery in this regard.

Another motive is to separate the child from the parent at an early age so that the system can impose it's ideals upon the child, it's principles, it's values and not the parent's ideals.

It provides kids with that shared experience, that shared frame of reference which is that anyone who doesn't hold the same values, or believe in the same sh*t, should be caged, killed or at the very least drugged in to obedience.

It tells us who we're allowed to hate, and who we can popularly bully.

A few. There aren't that many, because rating system is voluntary, and most retailers will not carry a game with an AO rating. So these games tend to be digital exclusives anyhow, and then there is no reason for them to go through a rating. But if you go to ESRB website and do a search, you'll find enough games you recognize, at least by name.

It's a tricky situation. You say that he won't pick up, maybe you should send him a message just saying how are you and is there anything that you want to talk about? This way you're putting the ball in his court, letting him know that you're thinking of him, if he doesn't reply at least you know that you tried.

 

If he's suddenly intrested in these extreme views there might be an underlying issue of some kind, maybe something upsetting him, this could be an outlet of sorts for him. Obviously I don't know your friend but people don't usually wake up in the morning and say I'm going to be racist/antisemetic/white supremicist from now on.

 

I hope this issue gets sorted out soon for you. It's never nice when a friendship is in trouble.

Preputioplasty and frenuloplasty are options, depending on the cause(ie if the frenulum is too short or if the foreskin is tight). Circumcision is only needed in severe cases.
