Does anyone still watch TV where you have to sit through commercial breaks anymore? Or is it all streams and DVRs where commercials can be skipped(for the most part)?

I don't even watch TV anymore,maybe the odd episode or so of a few shows but that's about it.I'm kinda into Shark Tank though.It's just really odd,given the fact that we have multiple other interactive sources to consume our entertainment.

 

To answer your question,I just use my phone if there is any ads on live TV,but when I DVR (that sounds so stupid) I mainly skip the ads.

Which one would you go for? Personally, I don't need anything crazy.. I don't really drop my phone, but I guess the added protection would be handy. This is just to protect the back of it from dust and fingerprints. I'm leaning towards the one with the green, aluminum finish

Sometimes, yeah. But I usually watch cable, so the ads are not as much as local TV.

Am I the only one who doesn't like loud crazy party's and getting drunk ? I just don't see what's so good about it... Spending God knows how much on drinks going to a dark sweaty room. Give your self tinnitus with loud crazy "music" whitch acturly sounds like dumpsters falling down a hill with cats inside...and then be sick everywhere, then wake up in the morning with a headache and feeling sick ?

 

I prefer to go down the pub about 7:00 have a meal... a good chat... A drink or two, maybe just some juce... And get home for 11:00 and be in bed for 11:30, good nights sleep and wake up feeling refreshed.

 

Am I just boring or sensible ?

You and I would get along great. I too prefer a good meal/chat (also known as a mat) and a mild buzz at most, and being in bed by a reasonable hour. If you're ever in Norway..!

 

Agreed on the loud parties as well. I can enjoy getting totally wasted too, but that's way more fun with live music. I met another jazz pianist at a party once. First, I let her drink my Pineau des Charentes because she hated what wine she had brought(we traded. It was an equal amount of alcohol but I will never forget the rotten taste of whatever garbage she had brought). After that, we jammed on a nice upright piano and sung "This Masquerade" together. We locked eyes for like 20 seconds during a particularly intimate section of song. It was romantic as f*ck, evereyone else at the party must have hated us. We then shared some more drinks and I got her a free ride home.

Getting drunk with friends is awesome, but I agree about the loud parties.
