Simple...They got tired of cleaning of the mess left behind

 

 

How can one prevent that redness/irritation that comes some time after shaving?

take a hot shower and then shave, works like a charm.

 

I also use shaving cream with aloe in it and it seems to help in preventing that...

Just give the cat to me, I'm lonely.

 

 

As long as the chlorine level is normal, then the cat should be okay. But putting a water bowl out wouldn't hurt, just to be on the safe side

Cats have incredibly effective kidneys. They can hydrate by drinking sea water without any ill effects, I don't think the trivial amount of chlorine in pool water will cause any problems.

Yeah, but if you're thinking about it, you might as well put out a bowl. So long as you're actually going to change water daily.

Make sure you shave in the direction of hair growth only. Use a sharp single blade razor. Use warm water and a good shaving gel / cream.

 

This will help and also prevent in-grown hairs. I have one and it's annoying as hell.

Insurance reasons. Under 18 is still considered a child and if a child hurt themself on anything in the store the insurance company would [more than likely] have to pay out a higher settlement.

 

The store just wants to make sure they can have(and keep) a good insurance provider at a good rate.
