Varies on the type of business and what companies you are comparing. Something like Walmart would most likely be not so good compared to a small store. Or maybe the Franchise business will pay more then the small mom & pop stores.

Okay, true. But according to my paystubs I can't "afford" it. Maybe they'll believe me when I tell them I don't pay any rent in the previous and current apartment ? I can only afford one.

I reckon my first choice will be that mom & pop place down the block from me and if they don't need me, I'll get my feet wet in the corporate 7-Eleven world. Hell, maybe I can get promoted to manager or some crazy stuff like that. Then I can have all the money to spend on model trains and Buicks I want.

Try and get an interview at both places and then make your choice.

 

If i had too i'd go back to a mom and pop store but don't let lil or I influence your decision, Do what you think is best for you.

 

But i will warn you, @ 7-11 you could be there for years before you are promoted.
