OT: What are some good snacks to have before hitting the gym? My evening shifts at work end at 9pm, and my gym closes at 11 so I like to hit the gym before coming home, but many times I find myself hungry. Only thing I've tried so far is a Nature Valley bar, but was thinking peanuts might be good for the protein. Obviously don't want something unhealthy since I'm working out.

 

That seems like it's not the worst idea, peanuts are magic.

 

Try not to break the machines though, the gym will make you pay for them.

It isn't the most secure way of getting the software in the world, but it's what most people recommend and the vast majority of users seem to go away satisfied. Operating system keys can be found here for +-$20.

• I downloaded Windows 7/8/8.1 ISO, How do I install?

  If you're using a flash drive/DVD you'll need windows 7 bootable tool (Yes it will work with Windows 8/8.1) You can download it right here Click Here once downloaded upload the ISO to your flash drive/DVD using that program. Once its done go to the flash drive/DVD and click on the setup.exe file. Follow the prompts and install. You will be prompted to insert key during installation. Watch this video if you still need help

The downloads for the operating systems that can be put on a DVD using the boot tool can be found on the right sidebar on the subreddit under the green "Downloads" tab.

The whole process can be kind of confusing, but it's so much cheaper.

I'm pretty sure it's legal, because the keys are bought by the sellers from Microsoft in bulk, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong. The only completely legal and safe way is to buy it from a store unfortunately, which is going to cost $80+ unless you happen to be a student and can get a discount for that somewhere.

That and the .ISO file for the operating system that you are installing, which are the ones on the sidebar of the subreddit.

The ISO file is what contains the operating system, the USB/DVD download tool allows you to put said operating system on a dvd or usb flash drive for installing it on your computer.

Yeah, an activation keys. There are dozens of sites that offer genuine keys for around $40, PayPal payments accepted and all that. Also, if I'm not wrong there were some pre-activated versions of Windows 7 which didn't require activation. I still use one of those on my Laptop. I wonder if those are still available on torrents. These disks prompted you for product keys for activation and you just had to press Register Later and then after the installation your windows would be activated automatically.

Without any strange implications, yes, it should work that way. And when it's done installing it will ask you for the key. Just keep in mind that you'll probably need several GB of space on your flash drive/dvd.

Yeah. Use a 4GB USB drive for the x84 version and 8GB drive for x64 version. You have an ISO file right?

Not sure if you'll have to make the flashdrive bootable, either way you're going to have to go to the BIOS and set the boot order as well so that your computer actually recognizes your USB.

 

And just be wary of deals that seem to good to be true. They might turn out to be keys never meant for normal consumers and in that case they will get blocked eventually. Been there done that.
