What effect does blocking a member have?

If you block their posts, instead of their post appearing there's a little bit of text saying

This post is hidden because you have chosen to ignore posts by .View it anyway?

And if you click 'view it anyway?' that particular post appears as if you haven't blocked them.

 

 

I used to block some turds (like the banned gangster SmokeDat), but I couldn't stand it and had to view the post, which ended up with insults and usually getting me warned/temp banned/...

 

The best thing to do in this situation is ignore the c*nt, not by blocking, but not answering the provocative posts.

Hey guys. Being a GTA player I use a gta online signature, up till now I've been using the gta-stats.com site but it refuses to update to the character I'm currently playing, refuses to update appearance, and I'm fairly sure most if not all the stats are off. I made a topic asking if there is a better site then gta-stats.com and got redirected here. Here is my original post.

 

I've been using gta-stats.com for my signature on theses forums but am hitting a host of issues.

 

No matter what I do the site won't update the appearance of the displayed character (she hasn't wore the red hat in forever). A lot of the stats are obviously off just by looking at them, and in this image I just flat out not included stats cause of that.

 

Is there a better gta forums signature site out there then gta-stats.com?

Also images is blurry with blur fully off. You still can't tell the black girl has face paint. Just looks like a blurred mess I can't change.

I'm not sure where to begin, such a statement is based on the assumption that everyone in the world does not have conflicting values and has no desire for power...which could not be further from the truth.

 

The fact is there are always going to be people in the world who don't agree with you because everyone is made different and raised in a different environment, some of those people will be violent by nature, some of those will feel the need to impose their values on you, and some of them have both these traits. As such, if there is a threat of violence against you, your community and your way of life, you will always try to protect it: this is how wars start and why almost every country spends a significant amount of money on defence.

Nothing really, as long as they have a legal permit I really don't give a damn. Some people just want to protect themselves, why argue with them?

I needed to laugh about my post with the Capone quote myself AFTER I posted it. I simply wanted to ask this gun related question but then decided to say something about this war related question.

 

I didn't noticed that the first part of the post text was still in the text field. I thought I already deleted it. Of course, now the whole post look a bit strange...

 

Anyway, I'm not looking at a murder like Capone as an idol or coach but there's probably something you can learn from any successful person. Maybe it be only a true quote.
