I hope not. Flat caps are awesome. To be honest, fedoras only look douchey when they're being worn by some neckbeard with casual clothes; when they're worn properly (i.e. formal attire), they can look good.

Extreme opposition to religion, check. Believes fedoras can look good, check. Maybe you are becoming a neck beard? They are not defined by a beard on the neck, it's the way they act. Just to be sure could you answer these questions? Do you feel "euphoric" if so, would you say that it is because you don't need any phony gods blessing? And that you are enlightened by your own intelligence. Do you frequent r/theredpill? do you shower and do they even have neckbeards in Portugal?
