Why am I not capable of deep thinking anymore? I used to interested in stuff like philosophy (existentialism, presentism, etc.) and have had many existential crises. But suddenly I feel dumber after communicating with 'dumb' people. I've become much more accepting with stupid trends than I used to. I no longer can think about the universe deeply anymore. What gives?

So on my new skateboard I find I really have to focus if I want to skate straight, a lot of times when I push i end veering to the left or right and im not pushing mongo either .

 

Do I need more practice to get adjusted , or do you think I need a wider deck /new trucks?

 

( I'm almost 6ft. The board is 7.5 wide and 31 long, I got 7.5 as opposed to 8 since I want to do tricks later )

If you want to have a serious discussion about piracy, there's a topic around. If you only want to share files and sh*t, it is illegal and the mods/admins are just watching their backs. In a similar way, you won't get the chance to sell weed here, but you can see people talking about weed and other drugs in some topics.

Probably because of the culture around the two. Pirates have always been pretty stupid looking and sketchy and rude. Inviting that sort of discussion in leads to nothing but a retarded discussion. Stoners at least keep it civil most of the time. And weed is and has been a very casual drug, kinda like how down at the hoot i' nanny they'll discuss cow-tipping 'round the sheriff even though he'd nab ya for it if he caught ya out in public.

Let's say someone worked at a chain store or fast food restaurant part-time. If they were to leave town for a month or so, would they likely be able to reacquire the same job when they got back without much effort?

I would depend on the place and the owner/managers attitude (some bosses consider anyone that leaves traitors) but in most cases I'd say yes.

You'd prablably better off letting them know you are going away for while and would like to continue working there when you return before you leave

My mother got her dog 14 years ago when I was 4 years old. My whole childhood our dog was alive. Then he got sick because of age, wouldn't bark anymore, he would barely eat, I pitied him. My brother would spend money for his treatment, but nothing major changed. He died last year. My brother said it was good in a certain way, because he wouldn't suffer anymore.

 

It'ws still tough when I think about it, but in your case, you have to be strong.

Sounds like your trucks are out of whack, maybe you have them too tight or the bushing are just busted... bad bushings can make your board turn on it's own which can be annoying as hell.

 

Board width definitely depends on your style and what terrain you're skating, say if you're more into vert then a wider board and trucks will be much more comfortable, if you have small feet and skate strictly street then a skinnier board would be your best bet. The skinnier the board the easier and faster it'll flip but the less stability it'll have and vice versa for fatter boards.

From what it sounds though I'm pretty sure it's more due to your trucks.. but I personally would recommend getting a 7.75 next time around, I'm 6' and a 7.5" is just too skinny to feel stable on.
