I mean I've landed a job before, but like I want a job ASAP and want to do everything right.

Absolutely. There are so many other words, but they had to go and corrupt the one word that is used to signify "not metaphorically". What the hell...

 

No wonder they say English is one of the most difficult languages to learn, as a second language

 

They literally changed the dictionary definition of the word in order to fit with the mis-used definitions. So I am not wrong when I say "Literally my head exploded when I heard that."

 

And that folks, is the saddest truth I have thought about today.

It's simple. Research the company or business you want to apply for. Don't be that idiot who drops off a resume without even bothering to check their official website that they require you to fill out their application form too OR that they do all their hiring online now. If you're going into somewhere you want to work, don't be afraid to ask an employee what to expect and what they recommend you say on your resume when you apply there. Get to know how their hours/shifts work too. Add in specific details that would apply for the job on your resume. Be unique somehow, what can you offer that others can't?

Would you say smoking weed almost everyday for 9 months, at 16/17, is bad/mentally unhealthy?

More and more studies are appearing every few months showing that long term Marijuana use is bad for you, just like any other kind of substance abuse.

9 months is not a super long time but here are a few things that might be affecting you.

-More than likely you are dependant

- Short term memory loss

-Long term memory loss

-It can affect your growth

- Weakened immune system, more likely to catch colds and flu's ect.

- Difficulty learning/retaining information learnt.

- Possible Paranoia

- Frequent coughing, phlegm.

- Drowsiness, trouble sleeping.

- You probably don't dream.

- Lack of motivation

 

Let's all remember, I said might, many of these have been proven in some studies, and disproven in others, or seem to affect some people, but not others.

I would recommend quitting like Devyl said, If you cannot got a reasonable length of time without Marijuana, you are dependant, if you experience withdrawal symptoms, you are dependant, and if you've smoked it daily, for 9 months, it's likely you are dependant. Good luck, try living clean for a while, make a little diary of how you feel and how you feel afterwards, that way you can see how it affects you

Anything not taken in moderation can be detriemntal to your health, especially in adolescence. Which is why I think legal states in the US keep the age for weed ( and alcohol ) at 21.
