I'm trying to compare a Samsung ativ book 4 vs a toshiba satellite a505.

 

I just wanna play minecraft with shaders yo .

I'm trying to compare a Samsung ativ book 4 vs a toshiba satellite a505.

From a quick search, it looks like the ativ book 4 has an i7 3537u and the a505 has an i7-720qm. The a505 has a quad core, but it has a slower clock speed and is older (2009) so the ativ book 4 is probably a bit faster on the processing front. The a505 has a gtx 330m gpu and the ativ book 4 has an HD 4000, and these gpus look to be nearly identical in performance.

 

Are you looking at buying these or are they just laptops you already have?

Both screens are broken. The Samsung vga port is broken so I was wondering if I should just use the Toshiba since its more dedicated ( according to my parents) or buy a vga to USB adapter for my Samsung.

Possible, but not really worth it if it's just for minecraft or web browsing or something like that. Might even consume more memory after an upgrade, but I've never used 8 so I can't compare properly. See if you can disable any services or graphical effects you don't need through control panel.

 

 

Doing this cut my ram usage from ~1200MB to ~800MB on the Toshiba mentioned below a couple years ago.

 

 

 

I have a Toshiba C655, from the same year as your A505 with half the ram and processing power, and it plays minecraft with just a bit of lag. Turning the rendering distance low and/or avoiding dense areas keeps it going smoothly enough to be tolerable. I don't think either will run mc with shaders and/or mods very well, but the Samsung looks just a bit more likely.

I've had issues with everyone I've met who ever emphasized the word the. I dunno if they do it wherever you're at, but it is the most annoying thing ever, it's ugly, and it's a really shallow way to emphasize nouns. Just say why it was good, don't start spitting thes through your teeth.

A laptop that will run Minecraft with shaders (and I'm assuming you want Sonic Ether's ultimate shaders) at an acceptable framerate will most likely cost you a lot. You're better off building a PC for that.

I thought sleeping younger women was wrong because it could be conceived taking advantage, because they are not mentally mature enough to make wise decision, not because of their bodies being undeveloped.

Because I mean, theoretically you could meet an older woman say 24 and this time you know she's 24, she's a nice person, you like her, and decide you want to sleep with her because of this, but she has small breasts, skinny hips and features more befit of a 14 year old, but according to what you just said, it would be wrong because her body is that of a young girl, but it should be okay according to this moral compass that society seems to follow about maturity.

 

By the way, just to be clear, I have no intentions whatsoever of sleeping with a 14 year old, I am just hungover, bored and asking odd questions as the flit around the (possibly empty) space in my head, and I find the notion of having to find younger people unattractive odd, I mean if a 14 year old looks 24 and I don't know that she is 14, it's fine to say/think she's smoking hot, but if I know she's 14, it's considered paedophilia because she's 14, even though she does not look like a typical underdeveloped 14 year old.
