Don't get caught up in that. I deleted my reddit account because I got caught up in that and immediately regretted it.

Loaded question question much? You sound like someone who refers to the "friendzone" or calls people SJWs.

 

I reject the assumptions your question is loaded with (i.e that anyone who is favor of women's rights is either a white knight or a feminazi) so cant answer your question. Its a bit like me asking you if you still beat your wife.

I disagree. There are feminists and do-gooders*, and then there are deliberately offensive (as in "on the offense," rather than distasteful) feminists and do-gooders. If a feminist is stalking, harassing and calling vote brigades onto you, which is a thing that happens on reddit, then I think a distinction can and should be made from the general feminist community*. You don't have to be a bully to stand up for your ideas, and people who do deserve a little taste of their own medicine.

 

* asterisk indicates I don't have a better word for a term and probably should just stay out of this anyway. w/e, yolo :p

true, there are some people who take things to silly extremes on any side of an argument. sometimes a misconstrued comment over the internet can cause an accidental sh*tstorm and then you don't know who's drinking who's own medicine
