LOL! Point proven.

I originally had it as Care-a-Mel and car-a-mel, but changed the 'A's to 'uh's because I was sitting here saying it to myself over and over and 'uh' seemed to fit more as it's own syllable in the word. Howev... Whatever... f*ck it. :)

I pronounce it "Care-A-Mel"

Oddly enough, I've been told that I pronounce "Yacht" as "Yat". Does anyone else do that?

I was just always told, it's not a boat it's a yacht. LOL!

I have had people tell me that I say "fish" as "fesh" but I didn't understand it until I heard a guy from Florida say "Milk" as "Melk."

Dialects are a weird and hard thing to try and explain in writing...

Edit: looked it up for your original question, UT. And according to Merriam-Webster, both ways of saying it are correct so it's however you prefere. "\ˈkär-ˌbēn, -ˌbīn\"

I know sometimes I pronounce Ohio "Oh-hi-ya".

Speaking of, how are accents formed? Like did native Australian settlers start speaking in that accent or something?

Good question! After doing some research, changes in accents and dialects happen most in small isolated groups of people, for example: the Australians being socially separate from England did cause them to form their own dialect, because the way the Australians started perceiving certain words a certain way that over time and thru only a couple of generations can turn into totally different dialects.

I was considering getting a part time job once I'm old enough. I was thinking of getting a Galaxy S5 as a backup phone. However, I'm not sure how much it'll be for the actual phone and the monthly bills. So does anyone know?

Depends on the carrier and if you sign a contract.

If you buy a just the cell phone without signing a contract the phone will cost maybe 5 or 6 hundred dollars.

As an incentive to sign the contract, the phone will be discounted, but you have to keep the contract for however long the contract was for (generally 2 years) and if you don't you have to pay an early termination fee.

Sir Michael

It really depends on your plan. If you're buying an S5 full-price, then its going to be up to +$700, but for a 2-year contract, it costs $200. A typical monthly bill can run up from $60-$100 depending on your desires and your carrier.. Which company do you plan on joining??

Would you recommend Payday 2? I've heard it gets repetitive after awhile, but I'd like to know what you guys think.

Yeah, some of my friends have it.

So then it's probably worth it. Playing by yourself sucks a lot in that game.

I would totally buy it.

I love it and i'm always looking for people to play with, I'm tired of getting stuck with a bunch of morons or moochers who die on purpose and then enjoy the rewards for doing nothing. If i think they are getting killed on purpose i'll boot them from the job.

It's fun as long as you don't play the game job over and over again, They def need to add more jobs to the game though they recently released a DLC called Transport.

You have to cut open the doors of amored trucks and then pick the locks of about 10 boxes but it's fun.

If your on PS, send me a PM with your PSN and we can play together sometime...

Going back to the whole pronunciation deal. Do you say envelope or onvelope? Most people I know say onvelope, I say envelope though.

Has anyone (human) walked on mars?

Nope.. we have a rover on the planet, but no human contact yet. The money required for such a trip would be colossal, but I've heard of a possible one-way trip to Mars.

It's strange, that seems to be the one word I don't have a problem pronouncing either way. Even though I saw "onvelope", I don't feel dirty saying "envelope"

Has anyone (human) walked on mars?

No not yet but they are trying too.

There is a show on the Smithsonian Channel called Surviving The Void, One of the main reasons why they aren't attempting it right now is because as of right now they are trying to figure out how Humans would be able to survive the trip to Mars which would take a total of 18 months in travel time alone 9 months there and 9 months back and there is no way they can put 18 months worth of food on the space shuttle and there will be no way for them to resupply them unlike they can with the ISS.

So like SirMichael says as of right now it's a One-Way Trip.

If you have the Smithsonian Channel check out the show i mentioned it's going to be replaying at these times..

My wife and I have sprint. 2 lines with the Smart Phone package is $160 a month, but it has unlimited text, unlimited Data, and unlimited roaming. I got an iPhone 5s for $200 when we re-signed the 2 year contract. So I would imagine the Galaxy S5 would be about $200 to buy with the 2 year contract [maybe]. With one line I believe it would be $110-$120 a month.

Some tea with honey usually helps me.

This has helped yes feeling a lot better this morning.

Get some salt *water* and gargle it, spit it out. Do this a few times a day for a couple days and you should be golden. If it's really bad you could use a neti pot, the thing that looks like a tea pot that put salt water in your nose. It sucks to do it but it works.

Edit: how did I just now realize that said wart. SMH!

Thanks wil try it out.

What is the appeal in "slammed" mini-trucks? I love cars and trucks, but what is the appeal in making your base model Sonoma look like a Mexican lowrider?
