How is Rwanda so stable considering other countries who faced similar problems around the same time period are struggling?

 

It's quite unique compared to most African countries because it existed as a kingdom before colonisation occured, and it's modern borders are roughly line with those of the pre-colonial kingdom. So it's managed to keep a sense of ethnic identity, and has a common language which is spoken by the vast majority. It's a small country both in size and population, and it's very densely populated. That is a major plus for administration, organisation and order. More than anything else though it has been lucky to receive an effective leader in Paul Kagame who put an end to the genocide and civil war, and helped foster a condition for the country where stability and development could occur.

You can't really edit the date. You have to have the timestamp value from the original post which I don't think you can get in any other way than to quote it, which of course isn't possible if the thread in question is locked.

Well, exactly, you have a timestamp.

(check the date of the quote)

 

There's a switch icon on the top left corner of the post box, click it and it'll show the BBCode and whatnot. The rest should be self-explanatory.

no skate shop in your location? do you live in the hood. It usually goes by your shoe size, bigger the shoe/wider the board. usually if your 11..5/12 and up then you want use a board 7.75 or bigger

Hah. No hood. I live in a rural area and everything is far away and my parents aren't allowing me to drive yet.

Well I can appreciate that you don't care what anybody thinks of you which is a strong quality... See I tend to be Conscious about how I'm viewed and perceived by others and I've been trying to get away from that bad quality but it's hard :(
