Yeah, but it's Sunday and it'll be 30 bucks to have him say "it's nothing". I like to wait with doctor's appointments until I have a lot of stuff I need to ask about.

I'm also not that found on visiting some doc, I tend to wait a few days to see if "it" evolves or goes away.

For your sake, I do hope is nothing (in my lay's opinion it seems like an allergy), though asking some diagnosis on a game forum probably will not help you much (unless you get really lucky and there's some Dermatologist/Allergologist around here that can spot it with your "symptom's pic").

 

Imho, if it's something that's (even if slowly) evolving you should check it with a doc asap.

The problem with job board websites is that almost everybody with an internet connection that's looking for a job applies to the jobs listed. Try using the the classified section of a local newspaper. No one reads those, yet companies still use them to advertise their jobs.

My chemistry teacher says that the formula for Cobalt(III)bisulfite is Co(HSO3)2. I don't understand how the f*ck he got this. If anyone can help, that would be awesome.

 

Edit: Would it not be Co(HSO3)3? Since the charge for Cobalt(III) is postive 3, not 2.

Here's one that's bugged me for years: in the Odyssey, when Odysseus meets Tiresias, the prophet instructs him on what to do when he reaches Ithaca. Then he tells Odysseus about how his "death will come gently from the sea" when he's elderly. What exactly does this mean?

Some say it might be a reference to Telegonus (supposedly Odysseus' illegitimate son with Circe), who, in another myth, kills Odysseus. However, this doesn't seem to fit the rest of Tiresias' prophecy. What do you guys think this enigmatic passage means?

It should be (HSO3)3. I don't know where the confusion is coming from, but as stated, Co(III) will have a +3, while each (HSO3) group has a -1, and any salt has to be neutral overall.

So they jut launched Netflix here In Australia, I am trying it out and am curious as to why with any streaming site, the video is never of the same quality as a DVD? It's really pissing me off. I chose the "HD" subscriptions but it's still a little fuzzy and grainy, sharpness is very very low.
What gives? Surely I can accept some buffer for better quality, what's the deal? Why do they not give me the option to pause it and let it load HD quality?

It's like 5Mbps, I understand it's not fast enough, but what I was asking for is a manual bitrate override, I found it. I am now watching HD video It does buffer a bit, but worth it.

I think you should consult a doctor or your parents about getting yourself vaccinated to diseases that are endemic in your region.

Depends on the type of the infection, extent of the bite, location of the bite, and a whole bunch of other parameters. Problem is, if you are in a situation where you'll have no medical help for the bite, you'll have no medical help to prevent you from bleeding to death, either. Outside of movies, I don't think there's a situation where this is the right course of action.

 

The only exception I'm familiar with where amputation worked is viper bite to a finger. Unlike infection, poison needs time to reach its target, and amputation of a finger leaves a minor enough wound to be treatable in the field.

 

Now, if you need to delay spread of infection or venom, reducing circulation to affected limb, similar to how you'd stop bleeding, may be appropriate. But again, other than with snake venom, I don't think there'd be much point.

I'm in the US and my wife and I have used in the past(in order of most usage); Indeed.com, monster.com, careers.com, craigslist.com and then the good old local friend hookup.

 

Also.... does anyone know how long we will be able to transfer characters from LG to CG? I heard it was a limited time and am willing to just do it on someone else's machine rather than have to start over.

Just installing it on a seperate HD/USB is easier in some cases. I don't know if it's still a problem, but Windows used to try to automatically fix partitions it didn't recognize on the HDD, breaking linux installs in the process.

 

Installing linux on a USB is as easy as normal, just select the USB device when it asks which device you want to partition and install to, then boot from USB for whatever computer you use it on.

So, it's now season for the Ixodes ricinus ticks in my area and I'm thinking of giving my dog garlic to prevent the parasites from bitting on to him.

I acknowledge that garlic can be potientially deadly to dogs, but there must be a certain amount that will work as both an effective and safe dose to my dog.

 

So, any idea of how much that dose may contain?

 

If it makes a difference, my dog is 4-year-old, normal weight, male labrador retriever.

That doesn't always happen, but it's pretty common.

 

Hell, there are a few artists I can barely understand when they speak, but are easily understandable while singing.

 

I've even heard a few people who can't speak a word of english but sing wonderfully in the language, like you'd never be able to tell.

I can sing the Sicilian version of the Godfather theme (Brucia La Terra) perfectly, but, apart from quotes from the movie, I can't speak Sicilian or Italian at all. However, it's a funny way to bullsh*t people into thinking you're some sort of linguistic wizard!

Also, Portuguese people can do a good impression of a Brazilian accent, but most Brazilians can't hide their accent fully to impersonate a Portuguese person.

Ive noticed the opposite IE: You have a perfectly normally Australian accent but as soon as you start "singing" (i use that term very loosely) you're transformed into a black woman from the South quicker than you can say "racial appropriation"
