What's the cheapest, yet most "comfortable enough" alternative to living in a house with a mortgage ?

If you live somewhere quite urban then a flat-share would be a compromise of affordability and sensibility - I think for a number of reasons you might strike the tent option off the list.

Make sure to use a primer base, and a final clear coat. Otherwise it's going to peel/scratch right off.

Short exposure to N2O shouldnt be bad, unless you have a B12 vitamin deficit, in that case, you might end up as a vegetable , be sure to ask an actual doctor about that (I actually started medicine, but left after one semester).

I probably get some of that ammonium nitrate from one of the local farmers. I think there's no reason to worry about any sort of vitamin deficit, since I eat my vitamin pills, vegetables and beer.

Luxury yachts (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luxury_yacht) look close in size to the Dignity, although I don't remember the boat so well. Was it the one Tracy was attending the party on?

 

Can't speak for living on a boat as big as that, but my uncle and aunt used to live on the kind you often see parked up at docks. They're about the size of a small apartment or RV home, a little cramped, but good for one or two people who don't mind sharing space.
