Awhile ago I cut some hair between my eyebrows and cut myself apparently. Now the scar has healed up and has left a huge brown mark between my eyebrows.

 

Is there anyway to get rid of it or cover it up?

Americans, driving question:

 

There is a road with a marked shoulder, but no bike lane or sidewalk. Which way should you head on a bike, with traffic or against? Confused b/c I've seen it done both ways and don't know who to yell at...

Almost universally, bicycle is considered a vehicle on the road, so it must move with traffic. It's also a violation to ride bicycle on a sidewalk in a lot of places for the same reason, but you're extremely unlikely to be actually harassed about it, unless it's a very busy sidewalk.

 

Do keep in mind, however, that US laws vary wildly by state, county, or even city. For almost any law, there are bound to be exceptions somewhere.

I usually cycle footpaths, too many cyclists die.

You wouldn't get in trouble unless you got extremely unlucky, I have passed policemen on footpaths and they've said nothing, I cycle daily on footpaths and have been doing it for like 15+ years.

 

Plus it's easy to outrun cops on a bike so if you ever did get busted you could escape, or just the "sorry, I feel unsafe on the road, it won't happen again".

Ditto. The only time I've seen someone actually busted for riding on a foot path was on a bussy boardwalk. And even there, only because there's a perfectly good bicycle trail running right next to it. Cops do tend to be very understanding about these things. And yet, it's something to keep in mind.

 

Oh, and one time, I was sitting in court for a speeding ticket, and next to me was a kid, probably about 14, sitting with his father. He was waiting arraignment on drunk driving charges. As much as I've managed to put it together, he was riding his bicycle after having a beer with his friends. He was riding on a foot path, but had to cross the road. At the crossing, he managed to run into a stationary car that was waiting at the stop sign. I don't know why somebody ended up calling the cops, but from there it simply had to go downhill. He was technically old enough to operate bicycle on a road. And he technically was on the road, even if just crossing. So technically, he was operating a vehicle. And because under 21 there is no allowed blood alcohol concentration, with any amount of alcohol, he was technically driving under influence. Worse, technically, he caused an accident while DUI. There was really no chance of anyone getting hurt, and there was no property damage, but the poor kid probably wouldn't be able to get a license until he's 30. At least, his father seemed to see the humor in the situation, and kept trying to cheer him up. It'd suck if he got hell at home for it on top of the law.

 

So yeah. Dura Lex, sed Lex. It's almost impossible to get busted for almost anything on a bicycle, but sh*t happens.

Is there anyway to get rid of it or cover it up?

A product called Bio Oil could help, as it's designed to help reduce the look of scars and stretch marks, or a moisturizer high in cocoa butter and shea butter, or any cream that is designed for stretch marks. It won't get rid of the scar altogether but will lessen the appearance.

 

The stretch mark cream with cocoa butter is great as when it warms up on your skin you smell like a chocolate bar.

Actually, yes. You make a suppository out of a cabbage leaf. Not joking...learned it on Lettermen like 30 years ago and for some reason it stuck in my brain.

Currently, no - although it's just a temporary bug since the GTA Online Heists vehicles are supposed to be in GTAV, as well. However, this will be fixed along with other issues such as the GTA Online characters changing their appearances, and other glitches.
