If you won the lottery, would you take the annuity payment option or the lump sum option?

Lump sum and invest in mutual funds or diversify myself. Then I'd have some on hand for fun in riskier investments. Plus cash for whatever what I need.

Is there a place where I can rent a tow truck? There's a junk yard not too far from my house and I was wondering if I ever got a car from there, how can I bring it home?

no, your best bet would be to rent a uhaul or a trailer

How is the street for parking? I know it's not an ideal place, especially if it's a wreck that you're planning to work on, but that's pretty much it for options. Storage space is pretty much the cheapest thing you could rent for that. If that's too expensive, odds are, you won't find a better deal.

 

You can see if any of your friends have room, but it's a long shot.

lump sum is the only way. most people dont realize, but only the winner can be the beneficiary. so if you do payment plan of 20 years, and you die before that time is up, no one else can get that money.

Have you done any programming before? I'm a big fan of Go as a cross platform, structured programming language. Or Python as an object-orientated language.

There isn't really a 'best' programming language for something general like Android dev, however in your case it would be best to start off with a simpler/easier to understand one.

 

In that case, I second Sivi's suggestion for Python.

How long a period of time are we talking? Some of the ex-Soviet/Warsaw Pact states have changed hands five or so times in the last 70-odd years; somewhere like Bosnia for instance. You've also got to remember that ~200 years ago, most countries didn't exist in the form the currently do. If you take into account all the states and sub-states that Italy has been made up of over the last millennium or so, it's been invaded a huge number of times.

They've come a long way with Android dev. Android is all java so you want to stay along the java oop line of thinking.

Android Studio has come a mighty long way and is super friendly. There are also some nice and easy tutorials at developer.android

 

Start small. Very small.

What's the best way to eliminate or at least dampen speaker anxiety? I have a 6 to 8 minute speech coming up on Thursday and I'm a wreck on the inside. I can't stand eye contact and one of the requirements is looking out at the audience for at least 80% of the speech's duration. I think my biggest concern is boring people, because if I notice that I've essentially failed and my self-confidence hits rock bottom.
