Boxers, unless I'm Taekwondo sparring, in which case I wear briefs to hold my groin guard in place.

It turns out I meant boxer briefs or "trunks" as they are apparently referred to in the UK and Australia (?)

Beware, males in underwear behind spoiler

So which would you guys say is the more comfortable? Boxers or Boxer Briefs like the dude on the right has?

I describe briefs as the clothing on the left (white pair).

I don't like tight fitting clothing around my crotch area, so boxers all the way. The only exception is when I'm running. I have boxer briefs with some support for that.

Prior to filing a bug against any of my code, please consider this response to common concerns.

Well I like running, so I suppose I should get both?

I'm alright with boxers as is at the moment, but it could be better with briefs while running, etc, hmm...

I doubt the store even allows that

I'm certain that if you are trying them on over your existing pair, they could allow that. Your store may have different policies.

Finn 7 five 11

I saw a story on the news of a girl who went blind after experiencing something similar.

Also a migraine is not a headache, they're a bit different, migraine you will experience what you're experiencing, and then you may get a headache, depressed feeling and a sick stomach.

Uhm... That's exactly what I've been experiencing, all of that :(...

There's a few ways to combat migraines, I'm a little lazy so just Google it.

It would be worth exploring. Support is kind of important with things like running, playing sports or whatever.

Although personally in those situations, I use compression shorts instead (pants at times during winter). But that's a more expensive alternative.

They aren't just boxer briefs, though. They are specifically designed for running and other sports. Under Armour markets them under the name Boxerjock. Look it up.

And yeah, they aren't the most comfortable wear for everyday stuff. At least, for me. So if you plan to get some of these, you probably want some regular underwear as well.

How much more expensive are we talking here? :O

Which would you recommend of these?

I only wear good quality boxer briefs like CK if I have to wear underwear. Junk still has more than enough room to breathe, but it stays comfortably put no matter what and no need for any adjustments throughout the day.

Windows Explorer decided it doesn't want to start up anymore, and now my laptop is bricked(?) because of it. Did the usual scan for malware, regedit, safe mode, chkdsk, etc. and still nothing. Long story short, I said f*ck it and just bought a new laptop since I could've used one anyway.

Is there a way to somehow move or otherwise access my old laptop's hard drive? I know I could just physically move it, but 1) it's a laptop hard drive, and 2) I don't have any open slots for another HDD in my current laptop. Also, connecting the two laptops via USB is out, since both machines need to be operational, far as I know.

If you can, try taking out the old HDD, and insert it into an empty portable HDD case. Basically something like this;

Hopefully then you will be able to save your old data.

I was wondering if something like that existed for 2.5" drives, good to know. Thanks.

Second question! Any recommendations on where to (physically) buy one? I don't 'do' online shopping.

Try a computer store, or office supplies shop.

Does it have a CD drive? Try running Ubuntu from a CD. You don't need to install it or modify contents of your HDD at all. It should boot and run from a CD. Then all you have to do is mount your old HDD and you'll be able to retrieve any files that are there.

Get a memory stick or EHD and extract the data onto and then, You could reboot the computer back to factory settings (back to the way it was the day you first turned it on)

I've done that a few times with my laptop when it stopped working correctly and manages to fix it for about a year or so.

Worth a try before spending any money or trying something that could break it for good.

It does have one, so it's worth a shot. I'm going to google all the relevant material I can think of and go from there. If that doesn't work for whatever reason, then I guess I can always convert it to an external like Phil was saying.

@troubadour: That requires Windows Explorer to be running. Can't just drag and drop stuff to a USB without it.

Actually, I did think of another question to ask:

Why do they teach young children the pledge of allegiance? I remember I learned it when I was just 4 years old and really didn't understand the meaning of the words coming out of my mouth until a few years later, and I imagine most other kids were the same.

Additionally, is it right to pledge allegiance to your nation? I can understand its importance in war time where it could be used to dissuade any defectors from shifting their alliance to an invading entity, but I don't see why it's important for children to not only say it, but to say it every day.

It's not. If anything, it's an anachronistic piece of nationalistic heritage that needs be got rid of as soon as possible. It also alludes to the status of a "nation under God", and is therefore unsuitable for a classroom on the grounds that it contains religious symbolism while the country follows a secularist model.

That "Nation Under God" thing is new though, just like "In God We Trust" both were added in the 50's to separate us from the "Godless commies." I wouldn't mind the pledge if the reference to got was removed...

And I totally agree! If that phrase were removed, it would be fine.
