Why are people on this site so obsessed with calling others fanboys? I mean, really? Just because someone prefers one game over another why does it automatically make them a fanboy? I've always hated the term, it's just so childish and as generic of a insult as you can get.

It's because some people go to profanity, insults, etc. to try and prove a point. Example:

 

 

Person 1: "I liked the guns in GTA IV better."

 

Person 2: "Yeah. Agreed."

 

Person 3: "GTA V guns are better."

 

Person 2: "OMG FAGGET F*CK YOU GTA V IS FOR N00BIES GTA IV GUNS R BETTUR KILL YURELF."

 

Person 1: "He was just saying an opinion..."

 

Person 2: "IDGAF."

Being a fanboy is going to great lengths to defend a game or developer against anyone with a different opinion (usually negative) about said game or developer. Some people in this forum (as well as others) are legitimately fanboys and they are funny as hell

V1 was locked after it turned from questions to spamfest. V2 was locked after it reached 600 pages if I remember correctly, don't think there really was another reason to lock it than to split it up a little.

Ask any of the birds this : "if i ask the other bird which door leads to salvation, what would he tell me?" if the bird is honest, he would tell you that the lying bird will point you to the door of death. if its the lying bird you're asking. he will point you to the opposite door of salvation. either ways, your choice should be the opposite of the answer given to you.

 

its really simple once you know the answer.

When I reverse and have the wheel cranked to one of the sides, the whole car kind of shudders and shakes like it's rubbing on something... anyone know what this is? I drive a 2002 Acura MDX.

possibly your cv boot is ripped, do you hear a clicking sound when you turn while driving normal

 

No, just when I reverse and not a clicking sound, per se, but kind of like a small shudder... like rubber rubbing against rubber....

If there is a clicking sound it is is the cv joint, roll your window down and listen to it, and it means the axle needs replacing eventually, the cv boots are just a piece of rubber protecting the cv joint, and they don't make strange noises, or I can't see how they could.

 

The noise you're hearing is either the cv joint or something else, if you go to a mechanic it's a fairly cheap repair, if they suggest replacing "The boots" say no, and that you want the problematic cv joints replaced, both cost nearly the same, but replacing The boots on a cv joint that is on the way out is pretty stupid. You probably have some years of driving before it gives out if you only hear it when reversing, when you start hearing it on everyday turning, get them replaced.

As far as I know, only one song has appeared in two different GTAs.

Whodini -The Freaks Come Out at Night was on GTA VCS' Fresh 105 FM, and it could be heard very faintly in GTA Vice City in the opening cutscene for the mission "The Job."

 

 

 

 

 

 

For what it's worth, I know of two really similar songs. Big Pun - Twinz (Deep Cover 98) from The Liberty Jam in GTA LCS uses the same beat from Dr Dre - Deep Cover on Radio Los Santos in GTA SA. Some ringtones available for your phone in GTA IV were sections of some songs played on Head Radio and Lips 106 in GTA LCS, like Mine Until Monday, Funk In Time, Bassmatic and a few others but I forget them.

Should I get my vision checked?

 

I have pretty normal eyesight about 90% of the time, but every now and then I kind of lose vision, or rather, focus. I can't see or focus on things directly ahead of me, in the center of my vision, but I can see everything around it clearly, like, it's like a blur in the center...

 

I also lose the ability to read properly at times, meaning I have to squint my eyes in order to be able to read a little bit better, it still looks blurry to me...

Yes. If you are having these kind of problems, you should get your vision checked ASAP. they could lead to something worse.

You're sure it's not due to migranes? Whenever I'm about to get a migrane the centre of my vision goes all blurry/warped but everything around the centre is normal.

 

By the way, I think you have the best avatar I've ever seen on anywhere.

There's a simpler thing to do, actually, and it will help you determine which bird is truthful and which is deceitful: ask one of them, "Is that (*point to the other bird*) a bird?". If he says it's not, then you've found the lying bird. After that, just ask the honest bird and go with what he tells you.
