Furthermore, Rene Rivkin got done in for it as well.

Anyone care to share some things to do in Miami? Going there for a family party and then staying an extra two days because f*ck it. Found a cool jet ski tour thing. What else?

Miami proper is kind of boring. Especially this time of year. There are some places nearby, but... Got time to drive down to the Keys? There are some fantastic diving spots there, if the weather's calm enough. And overall, way more to do and see.

Oh, and make sure you have a wet suit for anything water-related.

Why is K^2 such an intriguing character?

Because he is The Brain, and as a result he wants to take over the world!

I'll have a rental car from a Friday through Sunday, my return flight is a Sunday night. So could pretty much do anything. They paid my way down and for the hotel but I extrnded it because I've never been to Miami and figured why not. Surprised there isn't much to do in early March there. How far are the keys? A few hours drive? Edited by Irviding

There is your problem.

But in all seriousness, it is most likely caused by a 10346 x 9213 image on that page.

Using Firefox here, and even I can't see the image. I have made mention of it already.

Depends on how far South you want to go. The Overseas Highway is kind of long. But it all fits in the "few hours" category. I think you can get to Largo in under an hour from Miami if you don't hit traffic, which you probably will. But a couple of hours is still doable. Miami traffic is heavy, and drivers there are kind of insane, but at least it's moving. More like Boston than D.C., but definitely has its own twist to it.

The best place in the Keys to just walk around and see things is Key West, but that's all the way South. That's at least 2 extra hours of driving from Largo. On the plus side, the drive itself is pretty fun. There are big chunks of the highway just built over the water. For diving, boating, fishing, etc., your best bet for value/price is probably on Islamorada. If you're into sea food, there are good places all along the drive. There are also bad overpriced places, so read the reviews first.

Jesus Christ, guy, learn the language you're supposed to be speaking.

I'm a Norwegian and I watch Lilyhammer. Much of it is exaggerated, Norwegians are not feeble, inept hillbillies. Think of it as an American audience-based interpretation of rural Norway.

You understood what i asked, which makes it good enough.

I ask because im liking the show. I figured it was an isolated representation of just a few idiots, but wanted to see from a native what they thought.

The show is pretty amusing, im halfway thru season 2 now.

Yeah, that's not what a brony is.. Bronies take it to a whole new level with all of their weird fan fiction.

That's kind of splitting hairs... if you are a grown ass man(Read: above the age of 6) who watches that show, you are a brony.

Nuthin wrong with juggalos.....especially compared to the "i only listen to metal" group. Arguing over whether they like something based on its genre in the most moronic way possible.

I actually have never watched it, but the portrayal of Norwegians are probably as accurate as Steven Van Zandt's portrayal of an American mobster.

Don't listen to K^2 there is plenty to do in Miami this time of year. Unfortunately you're coming when we've got a cold spell. Cold in Miami is like 50's, but it should be better by the weekend.

There's plenty of museums and whatnot, I think the boat show is going on still, so if your into boats... Obviously check out the beach, there are plenty of cool art deco places if you want some cool pics. If you want the trip, Key West is nice, but it'll probably be busy and this time of year expensive. Outside that, maybe the everglades. Take a tour, heck an airboat ride is pretty neat. Take a tour of Alligator Alley. If you got a few hours and a car I might suggest heading north to Cape Kennedy. They've got all sorts of tours and museums if your interested in the whole space thing. Oh and do yourself a favor and get by Lil Havana and grab a real Cuban sandwich or coffee.
