What should I wear for my job interview on Friday? I've never been to a job interview before. The place is a breakfast/lunch type restaurant. I don't wanna overdress, but I also definitely don't wanna under dress.

I think the rule is one step above the position you are applying for. So maybe like shirt and jeans.

Well pants are a must for any interview, unless it's for porn.

Khakis and a polo or button-up shirt. Also wear a belt.

Business casual maybe? Remember, there's always an outfit for an occasion.

Yeah, dress clean, look nice, smile...eye contact. Enthused and attentive. Eye contact. Smile.

Thanks. I've put an outfit together and I think it will definitely get the job done (no pun intended)

Yup mine does the sleep yipping. My dog runs in her sleep too, and her paws move. If she's close to and facing a wall then it's annoying because her legs will constantly brush against it and make noise. It's way more annoying than someone snoring. So occasionally I have to slide her to somewhere where she can't kick stuff.

Elaborate what? just the inability of spelling the letter S. i meet a handful of people like that. they say its impossible for them.

A bit confused on Chemistry here, I'm learing Redox reaction, and my teachers told me something like O = -2 and H= +1 and F=-1

But what about O2 or 2O or something like that, does it turn to -4? Because I answered that in my test and I got it wrong. Same as with H and F.

And can someone explain to me about Auto redox too?

oh, well here in good ol California they take that sh*t way too seriously....

Reckless Driving Penalties in California

Offense/Violation

Classification

Criminal Penalties

Points Applied to License

Other Administrative Penalties

Reckless Driving, section 23103

Misdemeanor

Incarceration of at least five days, but not more than 90 days with fines ranging from a minimum of $145 to a maximum of $1,000

2

Courts may suspend license automatically. DMV may suspend license as well. Length of suspension case-specific.

Reckless Driving Causing Bodily Injury, section 23104(a)

Misdemeanor

Incarceration of at least 30 days, but not more than six months with fines ranging from a minimum of $220 to a maximum of $1,000

2

Courts may suspend license automatically. DMV may suspend license as well. Length of suspension case-specific.

Impact on Your Drivers License

Conviction of any reckless driving charge creates the possibility of a presiding judge to suspend or revoke a drivers license. Often, in light of a high potential of incarceration, long-term suspensions of up to six months or more are issued in lieu of incarceration. The length of the suspension, if ordered by the courts, is at the discretion of the presiding judge. Furthermore, if license action does not occur within the criminal courts, drivers still face administrative license action by the California DMV

An element in its elemental form (meaning the way it exists naturally) always has the oxidation number 0. O2 is oxygen in its elemental form and therefore has the oxidation number 0.

Monoatomic ions have the same oxidation number as the charge they carry. O2- which by far is the most common oxygen ion has the oxidation number -2. Peroxide ions where the charge on the oxygen is -1 (O22-) have the oxidation number -1 but are far less common. H+ and F- for the same reason have the oxidation numbers +1 and -1.

A neutral compound always has the oxidation number 0, meaning the sum of all oxidation numbers of the atoms in that compound is 0. The easiest way to assign other oxidation numbers is to use the elimination method as hydrogen almost always has +1 and oxygen almost always -2. The same principal applies to ions containing many atoms, the total oxidation number will be the same as the charge of the ion.

I was also taught that oxidation numbers are to be written using Roman numerals but that looks quite stupid when written in a post like this. :p

Oxidation numbers are only written in bracketed Roman numerals for elements with varying oxidation states (ie the transition metals). Like Iron(II) and iron(III).

We write them in Roman numerals even in university when discussing them but I'm not sure how much teaching varies across the world.

Do you remember or have the question from the test? It would probably help in identifying the problem.

And can someone explain to me about Auto redox too?

It seems to be another name for disproportionation (which is what I was taught). It's a redox reaction whereby the same element is oxidised and reduced in that reaction. For example:

H2O + Cl2 -> HOCl + HCl

Chlorine initially has an oxidation state of 0 (in Cl2) and is then oxidised to +1 (HOCl) and reduced to -1 (HCl).

Are there any Turks around who can translate something for me more efficiently than the online translator tools? It's nothing special, just a few snippets, small sentences from a website. As an extra it'd be cool if you understood about Android phones for a (probably?) more accurate translation.

PM me if so.

Is there anyway to bring a nissan skyline r34 to America?

youd have to make multiple alterations to the car so that it meets emission standards and U.S. Dot standards so your better off having a Nissan GTR R35

youd have to make multiple alterations to the car so that it meets emission standards and U.S. Dot standards so your better off having a Nissan GTR R35

The R34 is essentially impossible to import into the United States because of hanky panky that happened with Motorex.

Motorex was a company that imported a bunch of R33 Skylines and crash tested them until they had a set of modifications they could make to the car to make them road legal in the US. They imported many R33s, applied these modifications and made loads of money, but started sneaking in R32s and R34s with the same modifications and passing them off as legal. However the set of modifications was only valid for R33s and when the NHTSA found out what was going on they overcompensated and have essentially banned the importation of R34s (and R32s) outright (plus declared all R32s and R34s imported by Motorex as illegal).

JK Technologies, LLC, who performed the actual crash testing for Motorex, did petition the NHTSA to perform crash testing for R34's. Due to the Motorex fiasco and VCP-17 above, the petition was denied and will continue to be denied for R32's and R34's. As for R33's, only JK Technologies have any information or the capabilities to federally legalize these vehicles.

So even if you had millions of dollars to fund crash testing, the NHTSA (having had their hands burnt) will likely not even grant you permission to have the testing validated.

The full detail has been written up in this article:
