Changing accounts to change names or for a "fresh start" isn't a problem, having multiple accounts and using them at the same time or to evade a temporary ban is. After that it depends on your member log. Chrille sealed his own fate by thinking he was above such a simple rule, and various others considering his history.

I believe they often generally feel (obviously this changes person to person) like it's a miss use of money, that we could be spending it in better ways than providing education and health care to citizens. It's a values issue... they can feel that their values won't be taught or respected (death panels) and that when things are given away they aren't valued. Makes people lazy and feel entitled.

 

I think we need to try harder to get the idea that healthcare and education aren't small, unimportant things, that they are in fact 2 of the most important aspects to the success of an individual, and therefore society as a whole benefits greatly from them.

EDIT: I think many conservatives would say "tax the citizens less" as an answer to that question. Maybe one will actually chime in and give you their perspective.

Yes, but working for things not supported by people with those types of beliefs. Right-leaning thought is generally less government, less regulations, less taxes, less everything except "freedom". Leftists generally are happy paying more tax in order to support more regulation, government programs and policies to help promote the general welfare.

Leftists generally are happy paying more tax in order to support more regulation, government programs and policies to help promote the general welfare. Measure the size of the hole you need to repair. Cut out (at a bevel) a rectangular piece of drywall at least an inch larger than the hole you are patching. ...If the patch does not fit well, trim as needed with a utility knife. ...Smooth compound around the edges of the patch on the wall.

 

Just get a drywall patch and paint. Hopefully there is some of the same wall color in your garage, the dry-wall patches are usually pretty easy to use. Just go into Home Depot and ask them the same question, they'll hook you up for under $20. Unless you need paint...

i think the quality of the teaching will drop. i went to the local CC, and majority of the professors that teach there are from GMU, UMD, GWU and Marymount. most of them get paid bank. But once its free, the pay for the teachers wont be as rewarding. i maybe wrong but thats how i look at it. you should look up what professors get paid, some will make you sick.

This attitude is a big part of the problem, #1 thinking that paying educators well (especially higher learning ones who have spend between 8-16 years in school)is a problem seems nuts to me. We need to pay them well so we get people competing to be educators, on every level. With competition comes better candidates, with better candidates comes better educators, and with better educators comes better educated which leads directly to personal and community success. #2 'Free community college' doesn't mean the school is actually "free", it means the government would pay the tuition... the teachers would still get paid and there would still be quality programs, if anything they would multiply.

No way... they could easily shift funding to make it so our taxes didn't go up at all, but if they did have to go up a bit it would be worth it. It would really, truly, improve our economy substantially and that would pay for itself.
