Find whatever is the prevailing wisdom and go the opposite way. For example, go into the V section and tell everyone how San Andreas is the better game. Dic pic in misleading topic title is another route. Keep it up and you'll be a PBM in no time!

How the hell do I get notice or known here?

I think you just did.

That sounds pretty crazy.

This is the Internet, Marwin... only the loudest, most obnoxious people get noticed.

The awards this year actually kind of prove that people DO like respectability. Good job, GTAF, restoring my faith in humanity, one tenth of a percentage at a time.

I'm assuming you have been nominated?

Some crazy people think I'm friendly and helpful. But I've seen your name for "Most Respected" in a bunch of posts. In fact, the whole gamut of people in "Most Respected" seems to make me feel like even though we give energy to the nuts, people pay attention to the sane ones.

You haven't been nominated for a respected award?

u is noa =))

Question: How long will it take for a broken rib to heal? Is air travel alright?

Usually takes about 6 weeks, I don't think air travel is a bad thing in general. Atheletes seem to do it on the regular.

When sh*tty people vote for you for a "negative" award, it no longer means what they think it means.

Their sh*ttiness cancels out the negativity and creates a positive.

Boy... these awards really get in your craw, don't they?

The amount of circle-jerks and self-fellatio is the more nauseating part.

Are you feeling lonely and inflexible?

I believe the "best looking member" should be separated between genders. Females have the unfair advantage of having boobs. I can't compete with that,, not even with my c-cup moobs :(

The fact that you took those terms literally really says a lot about you.

Totally. I mean even the most average looking girl, would get waaaay more votes than the best looking guy. Because let's face it, this place is an absolute sausage fest. Either we should get separate categories for gender, or the girls have to disfigure themselves to level the playing field.

I'm going to London in a couple weeks, I figure I should pick up some juice for the e-cig I ordered. Any ideas where I'd get such a thing?

What's the name for that scenario where you never really notice a certain thing...but then something happens and suddenly you notice that thing all the time?

For example, I recently purchased a new car (i'm not going to say what make/model because it's kind of embarassing imo). But let's say I purchased a Fiat 500. At the time of purchasing the car, I thought to myself, "Oh wow, that's kind of an obscure car.". But since buying that car, I see Fiat 500's EVERYWHERE. Obviously it's because since buying the Fiat 500, I've become more aware of them and therefore I see them everywhere.

There's a word for that kind of scenario and it's bugging me that I can't remember the name for it because I heard it not so long ago on a sitcom. Think it might have been The League or Silicon Valley.

Anyway, any help in this would be greatly appreciated :)

Sounded like jamais vu at first, but it's actually called the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon.

Frequency illusion is what you're looking for. Or, in layman's terms, "Baader-Meinhof phenomenon".

Why do people insist in quoting the same image, or continuing a quote train?

Because they're simply too lazy to remove the other quotes and just reply to the quote they want to reply to. I used to do that, but now I try to delete the other quotes.

Should I deliver an application to McDonald's?

Wouldn't hurt.

True, true. I, at the very least spoiler tag the images, and oldest set of posts.

Some people don't have the brain capacity to be able to delete the image.

Should I deliver an application to McDonald's?

Meh, if it's all that's available then sure, but I'm sure there's lots of minimum wage jobs that are better and more fun.

EDIT: On the subject, would getting hired at Best Buy or a phone carrier store likely require previous work experience?
