I have years ago, it was pretty intense, I walked through/sat in the middle of the forest pretty much the entire time, spoke with nature and the wind, felt like I would disappear when it started raining.

It was definitely an intriguing experience, I've never had the opportunity to try it again since then, and I'm a pretty different thinker now, so I'd be interested to experience the effects.

 

If you were considering though, I recommend approaching it with extreme caution.

I was dosed by a chemist who has a very good understanding of drugs in general and warned me many times how dangerous datura can be in the hands of the unskilled or uninformed.

 

Don't die because some sh*thead doesn't know what he's doing.

I'm not really a credible source cause I've never done any real hallucinogenics, but I've read numerous trip reports online and personally I don't think i'd ever try it based on what others have said. People were describing it as like going into mini dreams and thinking they were real, then talking to their friends in another room and thinking those friends were really there, but suddenly they would snap out of it and realize no one is there and they were in a completely different place talking to a wall. People also mentioned that you end up forgetting that you're even under the influence of anything, like you forget you even took the Datura seeds and you think all these strange occurrences are normal...basically you lose all touch with reality. Sounds too f*cked up for me personally.

Is anyone else's local supermarkets asking for donations to the special olympics? My local Publix that I shop at keeps asking me if I want to donate and I'm wondering if they're asking folks te same thing in other parts of the country.

The only thing the local supermarkets here in Arkansas ask are if you would like to donate to St. Jude's. Of course, there are the Salvation Army kettles outside most stores this time of year as well.

I always prefer going onto imageboards in that case, like how I just post on 1chan as opposed to joining an actual model train forum. I dunno how many WW2-related imageboards there are though, other than history related sections of pre-existing ones.

Because it ended over 70 years ago and there isn't a whole lot to discuss about it anymore? The facts have been in for awhile now. Not much to debate anymore. You're kind of left with reading books and watching some documentaries if you are interested. And for sure - it is an interesting time in history.

 

There is also a new breed of Vets now thanks to years of desert wars with multiple allies, factions, freaks, and warlords. I bet it is easy to find active forums talking about the current (world involved) desert wars. Probably because those Vets and active service members are still [hopefully] alive(with a bonus that they are of internet age). They would be the ones to look to for answers on a forum and spark debates and talks...most WWII vets are dead and if they are still hanging around I'm guessing they wouldn't really be computer savvy enough to interact with an internet forum. sh*t...I have a hard enough time understanding the ways of internet forum'ing and I'm young.

Not really. A good amount of realism is good, but it's a video game. We should not have too much realism

Imagine having to:

 

Put gas in your cars

Pay taxes

Serve 15 years to life after killing a pedestrian

Donate to cancer research

Eat food

Use the bathroom

Watch TV

Go on the gta Forums
