You know how some people say that your hair grows back thicker if you shave it, but then others will say it's only a myth and it's not possible? What is the truth?

 

Like a part of me believes it's only a myth and it's not possible for shaving to have any effect on the follicles, but from my experience I actually kind of believe it does thicken it. I mean I have some facial hair. I can grow a full dark, thick moustache if I want (the Mexican genes, I've had hair on my upper lip and have been shaving it since about 4th grade, no lie), my chin hairs have gotten pretty damn thick in the past month or 2, and my jawline and cheeks have patchy areas but for the most part they're coming in. I noticed that every time I shave it actually does get noticeably thicker though. Some say it's a myth, but from what I've seen it does get thicker.

 

Or maybe it's not the shaving, it could just be that I'm 17 and my facial hair genes are kicking in rapidly, making it seem thicker due to shaving.

For the record: Doing it too much == more than once a day or everyday during a month.

I have a problem with this site, whenever i post something the page doesnt update to reflect my post, the same happens when i clic in show new posts. Im using Chrome, and it happens in both my laptop and gaming rig. Any ideas?

Doubt the effects would be the same since the chemicals is probably what adds the 'spice' in spice. I'm thinking the chemical isn't going to be easy to get your hands on. Why not just smoke some old fashioned weed?

Agreed. At the very least they should be given their old "Forum Leader" pips back. A 'Forum Leader' group could be created as well.

There might just be too many Ledbys around, and each of them would have to state what section the person is a Ledby of as well, it's probably just too much setting up for something that probably isn't necessary seeing as it hasn't been necessary in the past.

Go chew some oregano or something. The chemicals are what give you the rush. Since spice is basically synthetic cannabis they are also what kill you unless the person who synthesized them has massive amounts of knowledge in organic chemistry and a lot of laboratory experience.

I've never driven a manual car, do they move forward automatically when in drive just like automatics do? Or does it only move when you press the gas?

There is no "drive" on manual cars. If in neutral you can release all the pedals and nothing will happen. To get the car moving you need to slowly lift off the clutch until you can feel it engaging, the car wanting to move. If on a flat surface this will be enough to get the car moving, if on an incline you have the balance the clutch and gas at the same time. As long as the car is in gear it has to be moving or it will stall, if you need to stop you have to press down on the clutch as well, or put it back into neutral, but at least my driving teacher frowned upon that because you lose the ability to engine brake if you do so.

Yeah that's the part I forgot to mention. My hair seems to not only thicken, but also grow at a much quicker frequency. I have to shave way more often now cause it gets pretty long pretty fast. I mean shaving definitely has some sort of effect.
