Is anybody else sick to the teeth of hearing about this f*cking Ebola? I've just discovered BBC News are doing a daily, 15 minute segment on the crisis...like I don't hear about it enough at the turn of every f*cking hour.

 

It actually makes the Pistorious trial seem interesting and in no way drawn out.

 

Reminds me of the MH370 coverage - I heard CNN were doing far more than the BBC, which seems pretty terrible. I didn't really understand that since it didn't seem like that important an event. But ebola? It went from 'largest outbreak, lots of people dying in Africa' to 'woah there, this is actually a pretty big problem', which is saying something for a virus with, what, the highest death rate of any known disease? So I'm not really annoyed, but they are repeating themselves a lot and doing a fair bit of filler material, which doesn't help.

As much of a crisis it is/can become, it is starting to become old news now. There aren't any new positives coming from it yet the talk on it continues. If they discovered a cure then that would be something worth it's while. Informing the world of something is one thing but going on about it excessively doesn't help the situation. As for Oscar, I think that case went on long enough. They already knew he done it and knew he had an intent on killing someone yet they even let him walk free while the case was still ongoing. BTW when was the forum rules changed? I distinctly remember GTA Forums join date being 2001 November now its 1999 December. And also the little part towards the bottom about it being a free site and such has changed... Is there a reason behind it or just boredom? There were also some other discrepancies that I cant quite pin point as of yet. (I have a semi-photographic memory)

So the more and more I look for a car I'd like, I can't find it. I was considering of getting a motorcycle. But 2 things:

 

1. Is learning how to ride a motorcycle easy?

 

2. How can I secure a motorcycle when I'm away?

Riding is fairly simple with the right instructor. But what do you mean by secure and away?? It has a key or start button like any other automobile.

haha not gonna happen without a wench. I'm a big guy but I can't lift mine in no truck bed. But rolling it is different. I suppose if somebody wanted to take the time and get a ramp they could be off with it. But the majority of bikes/hogs now have antitheft measures that are highly effective. You have nothing to worry about.

As far as the why part. Hummm??? Maybe because Merck didn't hold the copy rights to the name Lithium. Not to mention that lithium has kind of a "hard to sell" name. It was time to come up with new, catchier sounding medications and re-brand (and/or granulate) existing illnesses in a softer more accepting light. The consuming adults in this world needed it. They needed to be told it was okay to feel sad...it was okay feel down. The entire population was told they were sick and needed pills. Don't worry - the pills are fine...heck, they are even socially acceptable now...you know...because we are all sad.

 

Careful. New old aliments are out to get you. Watch out for shingles. It has been here since the beginning of mankind(or close enough) but thank good the pharmaceutical companies came up with a few pills and TV commercials reminding us to ask our doctors about shingles and what we can do to prevent getting it.

They are not really the same. Roughly speaking:

Bipoler means they can be tied down and drugged as they are explosive and violent. More money.

Manic, means they go happy to sad, and back, on s snap of the fingers. Not as much money to be made.

So if you were treating a subject which diagnosis do you think gets the most pills and expensive treatment.

I like the name manic depressive better. The word "manic" makes it sound cooler. Whenever people ask me why I take pills, I say manic depression instead of bipolar. I also suffer from mild psychosis, and something that has to do with violent outbursts...

Are they? Maybe for a relative or something. My child just got soap in her eyes and went blind and I need to find her some blindness medicine, and the TVs on, oh is this commercial on? Wow, some medicine, and I can call this number? Handy!

I was watching TV for the first time in a while around 4 AM yesterday, switching between Adult Swim and TV Land (Steve Brule and The Nanny) and I noticed Adult Swim had a ton of sex commercials, stuff sex addicts and horny college kids would buy. On TV Land they had commercials for more sex stuff, but as the morning got a little later TV land's mixed in with different medicines, stuff for depression and back pain, etc. I was only up that early because I was constipated, and I realized that's exactly who's up at 4 AM watching TV, people who can't get to sleep because they're in pain or crying about how much of a failure they are. f*cking advertisers, if they would've advertised laxatives that day they might've actually made a buck off me.
